If prices are close, would you rather have a high grade of a lower value book, or a lower grade of a higher value book? As I try to build my collection I always struggle with this issue.
The rule of thumb is buy the nicest conditioned copy you can afford ...if lower condition of a higher value is best you can buy then do it. Same with higher condition of a lower value.
If it's a question of only affording one, go with book you want more

This came in yesterday! There are only (2) in 7.0 and only (2) other copies graded higher at an 8.0 and a 9.0!

Thought this book may have been trimmed due to the "cropped" look of the title. However after measuring against others and much online research I realized that it is the only copy of this issue I have ever seen where the mustard gas bottle at the bottom of the page is fully visible. I like to call this my version of a golden age variant cover.
