  1. That is awesome. I love those covers. Did you get that from a dealer? A rep? Harris himself?
  2. I shall hear more of this if you will. I love old movie posters. I've been holding off getting into that realm of collecting until I buy a house (I currently have a small townhome that doesnt' have enough wall space). Do you have pics or links of your goods?
  3. Wow, statues huh? That's a whole new level of comic obsession I've never even noticed before.
  4. Well, my first love is First Edition hard cover books. I love to read so why not have the first, right? I've discovered that while I can't read everything, these books certainly look impressive on my bookcases, even though I only have around 400. I also collect Green Bay Packers football cards. I've noticed that it's much easier to store and look through my card collection than it is to enjoy my comics. Even if I only have a few mintues, I can pick up a binder and look through a few cards. I like that. As for comics, I'm learning that it's a fairly ugly hobby and not easily accesible. I mean, how many ugly white cardboard boxes do you have? How often do you get to read or enjoy your comics? It's just not as easy as the other collections.
  5. It's Christmas time, which means not only am I buying comic books, but I'm also picking up football cards and first edition books. It's a tough time of year for me in the sense that there's just too much to buy. For those out there who also collect something other than comics, what do you collect? How do you balance the two/three/four collections? I'm looking for ideas on how to balance these things...
