  5. Just found this.

Art Adams fan. Any fan should check out his website, got to love those prints and posters (thumbs u

Would suggest adding 'Modern Masters Volume 6: Arthur Adams' to the list.

Enjoying Nick Bradshaw's work, has many similarities and has stated that Art Adams was one of his great influences. :applause:

  6. Howdy :hi:,

Relatively new to the boards and have been pretty active purchasing from board members.

Not a frequent poster so thought I would start this thread to help build some peace of mind for members as we cross paths down the line.

A friendly board member was kind enough to recommend it - grazie Claudio (thumbs u

    Cheers! :applause:

  7. Over half a year since the last post? Need to change that ;)

Groo always has been fun and will continue to be fun, one of the publishers needs to pick Groo up again - the team of Sergio Aragones and Mark Evanier is fantastic (thumbs u and Sakai on lettering :applause: .

I remember picking up the Groo 'Cheese Dip?' statue from my LCS, long long ago - good memories, still have it (sorry no pics It's buried in a box somewhere).

Has anyone read about any new Groo titles in the works hm ? Sergio just completed 'Sergio Aragones' Funnies' book and is doing some miscellaneous work for Bongo?

  8. Unknown Worlds in Toronto, maybe some of Toronto's older folk can remember them, Vince and Mike, they used to draw their own sale flyers, fun times.

I used to buy back issues from them one at time with whatever I could scrounge up, they would toss a freebie every once in a while since they saw me in there so often.

Unfortunately I believe they succumbed to the comic pit that was the 90s :( .

But definately fun times (thumbs u
