I just called up about my one sub that's been in GEI for over 2 months... only thing they were able to tell me was it is in the encapsulation room, and shouldn't be too much longer... I then asked about since everything is backed up when my other subs get back from CCS like the one that did on Friday, how long is that running... I was told that modern is at 130 days TaT... I told her that I thought books moved a little faster that were transfered from CCS, but she said no, and it resets when they come back... I know that's not how it used to work, but I hope she's wrong and it's not something new they have instituted because of they backlog they have... I really don't want to wait another 7 months after waiting almost a year for pressing 😬😬😬

Crazy stuff... they just got to 1 of my 4/7 yesterday... I did have one in that group of 5 that went to SFG in mid Nov, but I think that happened so soon because there was an ASM 300 mixed in it they bumped up to walk-through... so they just moved the entire sub along rather than breaking it out... so I'm thinking pressing from April is just starting to begin... I think you're right, and once they get to May its going to be horrendous, 300+ days for pressing alone is what I'm envisioning...

Nope... just sitting there waiting for 2 months... the one that came back to CGC today just changed to GEI, was in SFG for about 2-3 hours...

Just had one of my 4/7 subs bounce back over to CGC from CCS and is now SFG. That makes 2 of 5 so far. 4 out of the 5 are 99% to sell, while the one is for my PC. The first one to come back was the one for my PC, and this one today is the submission with the lowest value comics in it. Its as if they know i need money, and are just screwing with me lol... the first one is still in GEI since 11/19...

They have the metrics, but like you said it's what they do with them... which I assume is absolutely nothing from what I've read here, and across other social platforms. It used to be you could come to this thread, and get so gauge of when you might get your books back. That ship sailed a while ago...

Your, along with plenty of others first hand accounts are perfect examples that it's complete and total anarchy these days.

You think CGC is using metrics at this point?

2 months / 40 business days at G/E/I on my one submission today... other 4 still still in CCS limbo 197 business days, 215 if you count when they arrived at CGC 😢

I think what irks me most is that they don't even address the situation... just business as usual... would it kill them to put out a press release with some explanations of why there are submissions from almost a year ago all still in limbo... nope, just keep checking out these shiny new signing events...

I stopped gauging my subs to other people's movement... there isn't any rhyme or reason anymore... total anarchy

7 weeks so far in GEI, after 7 1/2 months at CCS + a month to be opened... losing my will to live 😂😭

Yet another week without movement...

If it's a great restaurant with a huge wait, I make a reservation on the day I want to go to avoid that wait... I show up next Thursday at 6:50pm, and get seated at 7pm... I made a reservation with CCS/CGC for an estimated turnaround of 145 business days... I am at roughly 205 business days... this restaurant sucks...

From what I am reading, that is correct.

For me it's not the increase in price... its what happened last time they made this announcement... my books landed on their doorstep beginning of March, and into the system beginning of April... 2 weeks later they announced the rate increase, and all hell broke loose... im still waiting for those books... they are still in CCS limbo except for 1 of them... that has been stuck at GEI since mid November... I don't want another flood of submissions since apparently all they care about is what's coming in currently, and their bajillion signing events...

I really really hope you're right...

This is so depressing... now there is going to be another flood of submissions making the backlog even worse... my books have already been there 10 months... I'm not ever going to get them back...

At least you can still view yours... mine have been there so long my subs aged out of the 8 month look back... a month ago...

Wait... what???????? My books were entered into CGC on 4/7 and hit CCS Received status on 7/29...

1 of mine has been in G/E/I since 11/19...

SFG is the new received, G/E/I is the new received part 2...

My books have been with CCS since April... was hoping once they hit CGC the grading part would be faster... guess not...

I see all this movement from you guys, and here I just sit... I give up 😂😢
