Marvel Studios Hawkeye spinoff Echo coming to Disney+
godzilla43 replied to AJLewandoski's topic in The Movie Forum
So the "Netflix" Daredevil is back. What happened to that PG-13 She-Hulk version? well who knows and who cares -
CGC needs first to create a form in their website where you could check if a slab has pictures and grader notes. Second give some timeline when the new slab will arrive. Third in that new slab the inner sleeve must have a ID-number as well and some CGC Hologram or something like that so you cannot just go to Target/Home Depot to fake those. Of course the inner sleeve ID-number must be seen inside the slab. Finally if they can make a slab which is harder to crack then do that but anyways the inner sleeve is the most important thing not the slab. I think 2024 Conventions are going to be interesting. Something like this might happen: Customer: Hi, I am interested on couple of your CGC slabs. Dealer: Okay, here. Customer: Nice. I brought this highly sought after key to trade. It is a blue label 8.5. Which FMV seems to be about the same as those two books. Dealer: Let me check. Ou it does not have any pictures in CGC-site. Customer: Yes, it is a older one. Dealer: In that case I cannot go forward with the trade. How about if you crack the slab and I can personally check the comic book. Customer: Hmm.. well okay. CRACK. Here you go. Dealer: Yes, every think seems to be in order. It is a VF-NM copy with no restoration. So the FMV for raw VF-NM is $$. So I could trade one of my books to that. Customer: But those don't have pictures in CGC-site neither. So if you can just crack those slabs and we can make a trade. Dealer: You must joking! My slabs are good. Customer: Crack the slabs! Dealer: I think we cannot do business so have a nice day!

Cover is fine but like with many Liefelds art you should not look it too long unless you want to find something wrong with it. Like those guns. Is that Spiral holding those guns? It cannot be 6 different person. Can it?!?

Books you just cant find in the Wild
godzilla43 replied to fastballspecial's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
I believe it is just a normal ratio variant which is rare because hardly any store wanted to order 50 copies of X-factor 250 in 2013. -
Toho's GODZILLA MINUS ONE directed by Takashi Yamazaki (12/1/23)
godzilla43 replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
Great film. Good balance with scenes with people and Godzilla. Also the human characters were much more meaningful than previous Japan Godzilla films. Also the film looks and sounds nice.- 213 replies

Message deleted. Already posted video -
No, I don't think he will sell any tickets. Like yes 2011 after Drive or 2016 after La La Land but in 2023 I dunno.

X-factor 250 1/50 variant I have this book. I bought it almost a year ago for 40$ after thinking and checking for some time. Did not find any sold listings and it was not for sale in MyComicShop. I also check CGC consensus and Comichron and after all that I was kinda sure that this must be a rare comic book. Finally I was like whatever just buy the damn thing and well it is a X-men related book even thou I never cared too much about X-factor and I think the cover is kinda bad. -
Yes it was. Worst thing about that movie is that is so boring. Only maybe Morbius is worst than this. FF I fell sleep after maybe an hour and with Morbius I turned off after 20 minutes.

I would say comics as a investment are unstable. Yeah modern raw book can go from 100$ -> 10$ in bad auction/bad spec but a Silver age key can go from 10 000$ -> 5 000$. Best advice about comics is collect what you like. That what I have done buy stuff I want and being in mindset that yes I will loose money and for stuff I don't care I have bought from dollar bins..

Movies need to make money. You do understand that? That Endgame story arc consisted on bunch movies that were all successful in box office. In the current shape Marvel is the Kang story arc only lasted one movie of number ?? of movies they may have planned.
-
No and I hope not. How about maybe 5 year story arc at the most.

The retro video game market has crashed?
godzilla43 replied to SpineTic's topic in CGC Video Games General Discussion
and in normal retro game collecting loosing 400$ value in something would be "catastrophic" so these graded games really are something -
The retro video game market has crashed?
godzilla43 replied to SpineTic's topic in CGC Video Games General Discussion
Retro game market is doing just fine. People are buying retro games and playing them -
Well I don't know what CGC means by CIB vs Complete but it should mean the same thing but there are some people ( ) who say CIB stands for Cart+Instructions+Box and Complete means that it has all of those plus lets say a map or poster. I would avoid sellers who advertise games as CIB and those are missing something.
