  1. I've decided to part with a few more GA GGA femme fatale slabs: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9460677#Post9460677
  2. It is a pleasure doing business with Roger! I sold several golden age books to him. Prompt payment, excellent communication and an all-around great guy!. Looking forward to doing more deals with Roger.
  3. My appreciation for motorcycle covers is growing.
  4. I've decided to part with some of my Blonde Phantom "undercopies". If anyone is interested, here is the link: Blonde Phantom 13, 15, 16
  5. Some of Al's splash pages are pretty nice too...
  6. FTFY. Wolverton was much admired but some of the founders of the Underground movement. My bad. Basil came first. He was clearly a huge influence.
  7. Thanks for showing your Willie! Here's mine...
  8. Beautiful covers. I never realized how similar Basil Wolverton's style is to Robert Crumb.
  9. You were lucky the waiter took so long to bring my bill. The outcome might have been different. Congrats. Thanks! I never thought I'd be grateful for poor service. By the way, have you guys seen this: Edgar Church Spitfire #133
  10. Just won this in the ComicLink auction. Anyone here win the 6.5 copy of AB 25?
  11. I picked this up on eBay recently. It's in poor condition, but it's a nice reading copy.
  12. And have you seen the 9.4 copies of PL 14 and 16 in the August HA auction?
  13. PL 23 is also my favorite of the two because of her more dominant pose. Buy why did she always have to wear practical shoes?
  14. What a great cover. I must have one. Ken Don't recall seeing one before. I think those Dottys are pretty tough. A lot of the Dottie artwork is by Archie artist Al Hartley. I never was a fan of his Patsy Walker and Atlas work and his Archie work gets mixed responses from Archie fans but in the 1940's I thought his stuff was pretty nice! He did the Ernie books as well. I really like Al Hartley's work - especially on the Atlas titles Meet Miss Bliss and Della Vision. These comics are rarer than hen's teeth.
  15. That is an awesome splash page! Now you got me reading all the old issues of Speed over at comicbookplus.com The Black Cat is an added bonus.
  16. THANKS...here's another with great colors. Great covers, mm!
