  1. Here's a link to my most recent Christmas thread: Though I label the books as give away prizes, this does work as a sort of de facto auction since the x number of books go to those who made the top x amount of pledges, and pledges can be increased until closure. Curious @VintageComics - which section do you plan on posting your thread in? In the hopes of maximizing the eyes on mine this coming year, I think I'm going to move it out of G/S/B. I just don't know where the new destination will be and have been shopping for input.
  2. Why not, I’ll play. At least until I blow it due to a bogus image and ignominiously stomp off into the sunset.
  3. If you did a shot every time he says “universe”, you’d be dead.
  4. - Wolverine LS 3 And the time has come.
  5. Current total price on all the slabs is $2425. If you've got more patience than me, take them all for... $2200 shipped
  6. I've arbitrarily decided that the arbitrary closing date & time have yet to arrive. So...one final bump, and let's see what we see.
  7. “Alright, Mr. Abrams, let’s hear it.” ’OK, picture this. Scene 1 - a young Rogue, played by Anna Paquin…err…someone else…is talking her boyfriend through a planned trip to Alaska while demonstrating the route on a wall map. And the rest writes itself.’ ”Sold!”
  8. Prices on all remaining CGC books so you don't have to do the math. I may have even rounded down a few numbers beyond the 20%... Iron Man 35 - $110 shipped Tales of Suspense 67 - $45 shipped Flash 123 - $235 shipped IMSM 1 - $220 shipped Superman 76 - $1150 shipped Marvel Tales 99 - $200 shipped Doctor Strange 169 - $165 shipped
  9. He is an official HOSer -- You even wrote up the nomination.
  10. Moment of truth - I have no idea where that scene is from. I just needed a good deal closing gif.
  11. - FF 58 Let’s keep it rolling folks!
  12. Then where were you at 10% off...
  13. One last shot at this - 20% off all listed prices. Anything unsold by a completely arbitrary time of my choosing will then move to eBay.
  14. Avengers: Kree-Skrull War 1 & 2. $5
  15. Wolverine 87, non-deluxe. 9.0. $2
  16. Wolverine 90, non-deluxe. Reader / 7.0ish. $4
  17. Thor 1, 2020 Walmart edition. Conservatively calling this a 9.2. $4
  18. Savage Wolverine 1-23. Full series run. Readers that I don't believe I've ever read, would not shock me if there are several 9.8s lurking in here. $25
  19. Wolverine Limited Series 4. Concludes this fantastic storyline, which was brutally butchered in the second Wolverine movie. Not that I'm hung up on that. Anyway... I call this one a 6.0 as it stands now. Moderate amount of creasing and impact marks to both covers. However...so much of it is not color breaking, that I wouldn't be surprised to see a really good presser push this into the 8s, maybe even all the way to a 9.0. $10
  20. Wolverine Limited Series 3. Very tough to keep in high grade due to the all black cover. I conservatively call this book an 8.5, though I think there's an easy case to be made for 9.0 as is, quite possibly a 9.2 after a pressing. Front cover has 4 small spine tics, two of which are tough to see without the book being under a light, and some non-color breaking bending to the top of the cover. Rear cover has 3 small spine tics and a non-color breaking crease at the lower spine corner. Also a slight miscut towards the top with that little bit of extra paper hanging off the edge. Spine has a slight reading bend toward the bottom, definitely pressable. $old
