  1. I don't think anyone can debate it's certainly much tougher to obtain in high grade compared to Hulk 181. I'm glad the book is getting it's due. It's an iconic cover, by a legend who has now unfortunately passed. I personally think it's still undervalued.
  2. I totally agree with you. The book IS NOT scarce, but it's on everyone's want list (like spidey 300 and new mutants 98 in the copper age) So while it's plentiful, demand is over the top for this book. Will it drop? Sure, eventually, it has to. But I don't see it cratering to levels from 2-3 years ago. Iconic cover, iconic character===$$$$$$$$$$
  3. I have an affinity for both. I think with most people being priced out of 181, they will gravitate to 180
  4. I picked up a 180 in 9.2 for about $600 when ebay had one of those 20% off one item specials late last year. This issue has been climbing, albeit at a much slower pace than 181. I just checked ebay-----copies of this seem to be drying up. (at least right now)
  5. I remember buying my 181 cgc 9.0 for $900 about 5 years ago and thinking I way overpaid.
  6. Does anyone here think issues #180, #182 have room to move with collectors being priced out of #181? (especially issue #180?)
  7. My Picks: House of secrets 92 in the best possible condition. (this book just keeps going up and up) Hulk 181...they are not rare, but Wolvie is iconic. Hulk 271...the chicks dig rocket raccoon Avengers 196...taskmaster is an awesome villain who will eventually be in a movie one day.
  8. Hello Everyone! I've been collecting for 30+ years off and on, Started when I read my brothers spiderman/batman/avengers comics when I was a kid. Took a few breaks here and there: (college--where I almost sold my collection) moving, etc... Got back into it about 10 years ago with a splash when I bought an amazing spiderman 1 and x-men 1 at a boston comic show. I love me some silver and bronze with the occasional sprinkling of modern books thrown in.
