    Yes - that issue where he disfigures himself! Forgot about that - great story as well. I forget what issue that is...you'll get to that in the Fantasticast early on though - they have some REALLY interesting things to say about it - similar to your comments actually. And agree re the transition from PCH to FF is still happening in FF5. Also agree re posture and "esteem". Solid points Sir Corvonie.

    Haven't actually read this thing in a while - congrats again man!!! Seeing the images made me realize something I forgot: in the early (very early) issues, maybe only in FF5 and no further actually (?) Doom is portrayed like vulture - his body posture, the angles, the actual side-by-side to vulture splash -etc. What's "the deal" with that? I feel like that's an angle that was dropped early on that REALLY helped to add depth to the doom character - I loved those early versions. I wonder why it was dropped...
