Dream Club by Albert Quandt         Original Novels No. 726     1952         $150

High grade example of the JD/Drug classic digest with the Herb Taus hypodermic needle cover art.  Re-titling/numbering of "Beyond Desire"

Tight and bright with very little wear. Staples are solid with moderate rust on the exterior, clean at the centerfold, which is tight. Tiny piece out at top staple.  A couple of light bends that don't break color.  A really fresh feeling/looking book.

Substitute a J in there for that needle and I might consider a Club Membership

Great cover design on this one, the layout, colors, the chair and of course, the girl :)

Square tight and fresh with great color & gloss. Has a light crease along spine, slight glue wrinkle, tiny chips off corners

Or both? Along with Ploog? Actually, a weekend anywhere, preferably, sounds great right now. Maybe I'll wing it on over to London and jam with the Stones! Maybe I'll settle for Vegas and a visit to every comic store there.

Feel the music, Mark…it calls to you…this guy had it just about right:

Hiroshima by John Hersey Bantam    404   1948      $30

Classic Geoffrey Biggs cover depicting the "silent horror" of Atomic War.

Slight upgrade from the last copy I sold. Square, glossy and tight with one light bend on front that doesn't break color.  Lamination is 99% all there with only slight lifting. Nice pages.

I recently read this cover-to-cover - it is absolutely amazing and terrifying.

Monkey On My Back by Wenzell Brown Popular Library 549   1st PB 1954    $40

Great Owen Kampen cover art of kids on the skids on this famous drug book.

Tight and bright with great color. A few small creases and light wear, bend to middle, tanning pages with a couple tiny stains to page edges. Nice looking copy over all

    Take per PM!

Really pumped about this one. Something "familiar" yet quite different for me. Time to see what Mickey was made of in WWII!

Thank you for the opportunity and fair deal, Jimbo! This will be such a fun book to add to the collection.
