  1. Great books, guys! I love seeing what you all come upon in the wild :)

Came across these the other day! I love Treasury Editions... I don't think I've ever seen a batch in such great shape.

These are sitting at NM- to NM+ across the board (minus the Close Encounters, which is the rougher book of the lot).

Great stories... great art. I wish they still pumped these out...

    Superman vs. Ali! :P

  2. The Captain Marvel Action Figure Variant is sold out at midtowncomics.com

That one was very hard to obtain per my LCS. He said he wasn't even close to being able to order it.

I was lucky to nab the last one at one of my LCSs, at cover price too. Very lucky...

  3. Hey Guys,

The excitement and wonder this movie evoked is a rare thing for me. As an artist, I am also mesmerized by the behind the scenes vision, approach and process. I really do think this film will inspire a whole new generation of up & coming film-makers (relished, reviewed & discussed for years to come).

    great article...

Do You Realize Mad Max: Fury Road Is A Miracle?

Why I think it didn`t excite me like most was I seen all this stuff and storylines done in videogames over the last decade.

If you haven`t been experiencing the last 6 to 8 years of videogames than Mad Max Fury Road will seem fresh and groundbreaking.

I disagree. I've been in the games industry for the last 13 years, and work with lots of folks that have been hardcore gamers for even longer than that. I haven't heard a single negative point made about this movie from any of them. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

I've seen it twice so far. Even better the second time around after having read the book that came out a few weeks ago.

  4. Nothing that has any sort of crazy value, but I love the cover nonetheless.

The werewolf looks like a rabid Ewok.

Found this at Half Price Books. I never expect to find anything there (and I very rarely buy anything from their bins)- usually just jump in on occasion on the way home from the office.

  5. Not sure if this is the right place for this. But Mad Max Fury Road is going for way over cover price. Seems to have happened in the last day really. You could get them for $5 as late as yesterday.

This book sold out insanely fast. I think I just bought the last two copies in Austin... every store was out of these as of Saturday. I wonder what the print run on this was?

The movie was fantastic - looking forward to reading this issue.

    --edit--

Read it... very cool back story!
