38 and 69 here. we need to kick up the boardie percentage. @Artboy99 we were dueling it out for 53. congrats on picking up that beauty. ending up going hard on the 38 since i thought that was my last chance to get a mile high. i didn't know i won 69 until after the auction was complete. 69 ended up being the cheapest mile high sold if i am looking at the numbers correctly. congrats to all the boardies that picked up these bad boys. i really wanted 70, but signal died while waiting for kids to finish gymnastics.

Really nice book. Case is CGC fresh and was placed in mylar sleeve. $21,000. Recent 4.5 sale of $17,500 and know there was a 5.5 sale for around $25k. Looking for cash, but will consider trade/cash offers. Notes say “tape on interior cover” which I understand can be removed. No marvel chipping and nearly perfect Off White/White Pages. sorry for the confusion on sales. GPA reference is for direct sales and raffles. I sold the Turtles 1 cgc 9.0 for $5500 in OCT of last year which was about GPA 90 day. Book is up to $6800 on GPA! I've sold from raw to other four figure books by direct sales and always use GPA for reference. Seems like comiclink and private sales are over GPA on several keys and wished it was reported or tracked, but that is another conversation. Typically, raffles are slightly higher at 10-20 percent of FMV, but I try to stay at GPA. Also, the ig community will tell you if a book is too high, because if a book doesn't close or fill all the spots, it is an indicator the price is too high. I totally understand not following folks that raffle on IG, because there are constant reposts to try and fill spots. I had to create another account bc several of my friends had to unfollow.

I’m on ig and raffle my books and other collector’s books and also sell directly to buyers. GPA is used as a guide and I try to stay at 90 day average or latest sale plus 10% to 15%. Some books like hulk 181 CGC 7.5 closed at $2700 in the raffle and 90 day avg is ~$2500 and latest sale at ~$2700. So it is hardly a 200% markup, but I have seen those type of raffles. I understand why some don’t like raffles, but for others it is an opportunity to get a big book for a fraction of the cost. I raffled a fantastic four 1 4.5 last year for $5k, which was GPA 90 day average at the time. Ooops?! But I know the collector that won and he is ecstatic he was able to get a key for a fraction of the cost. I’m happy for him and we still talk about his win and when he is ready to sell the book back to me. Lol. Other good thing with IG is selling books without the auction house/ebay fees. There are reputable people on there that trade or do cash/trade deals where both parties are happy. I sold a turtles 1 9.0 this year to a ig member. I got on IG to try and move books without paying crazy ebay fees and avoiding scams or fake buyers.
