  1. I was wondering what grade do you think this is? 0.5 or a 1? Bearing in mind the tape and the lack of a back cover I totally do wanna get this encapsulated regardless though due to it being the fourth appearance of Young Marvelman and the fact I've never seen this comic before -- I hasten to add I believe the only image of this issue (outside Marvel's reconstruction) was on Grand Comics Database and it's this exact copy~ The copy is separated into three sections; the front cover and the first two pages (4 sides); the large selection of the stories; and the last page of a story and the 'Do You Know These Birds of the World' advert (2 sides)~ All comments are welcomed! Thanks!
  2. Posting another UK Variant, and I was wondering what grade do you think this is? Would this benefit from a clean and a press? I've noticed on the right-hand side of the front cover that there is several scratches - something I noticed on some of the regular versions that I bought from the U.S. months ago - so I'm unsure whether those are printing defects ~ All comments are welcomed! Thanks! #
  3. Bought this recently -- only for Young Marvelman #28 (which I've never seen before) and of course the prospect of getting another copy of Young Marvelman #370 -- also #72 for obvious reasons due to Nastyman ~ Hey ^_^ The pogs are blank-backed The postcards just have some general information about the origin of the images ~
  4. The quartet has to be summoned once more: @marvelmaniac; @scburdet; @Yorick; and @The Lions Den
  5. Yeah Thanks a lot <3 Thanks a lot for that - much appreciated! To be honest I'll probably clean and press them before sending it to be encapsulated ~ To be honest it's for my personal collection as very few of those books are in CGC ~ Thanks a lot I guess I'll just encapsulate it as it is after a clean and press ~
  6. Thanks so much I have to summon @marvelmaniac; @scburdet; @Yorick; and @The Lions Den to this thread :O
  7. I was wondering what grade do you think this is? Would this benefit from a clean and a press? More so a press? All comments are welcomed! Thanks!
  8. I understand, but when can it be updated? If I were to send this book in for grading - coupled with scans, documents and general proof of addition - would that suffice? ~
  9. I thought I'd request a census update for Marvelman #370 (UK Edition), which has incomplete information in the key and art comments section. The current layout of Marvelman #370 (of August 6, 2022): Issue Date: 2/63 Year: 1978 Year: 1963 Publisher: L. Miller & Co. Ltd. Key Comments: Last issue Art Comments: My proposed (updated) layout of Marvelman #370: Issue Date: 2/63 Year: 1963 Publisher: L. Miller & Co. Ltd. Country: United Kingdom Key Comments: Last issue. Last appearance of Marvelman. Flip and Flop, and Johnny Galaxia backup stories. Art Comments: José Beá art. Would such a change be possible? All of this information is featured in the book ~ I realise that the Population Report information is generated from what was included about the book by your Graders, but when can this be updated? Would it be a futile effort to include pages of suggestions (coupled with proof and references) to each book I would submit to CGC? All comments are welcomed.
  10. Marvelman #370 ~ The last issue which I've never seen for sale apart from one in 2021 and the CGC 6.5 copy (sold in 2020) that was in the U.S.A, of which I believe was @EwanUK's copy he sold several years ago (this is the image) ~ Out of all the Marvelman comics (including even Marvelman #26) this is the one I wanted the most, so I'm beyond elated
  11. I was wondering what grade do you think this is? Would this benefit from a clean and a press? Speaking of the staple rust and the multiple rust stain spine through the book ~ All comments are welcomed! Thanks!
  12. I know :( Thanks a lot Seriously thanks, @grendelbo, for that most detailed reply ~ Yeah that spine split ... damn it
  13. My plan is to get these Starlord #1 (1978) copies signed by John Wagner and submit them to CGC ~
  14. Thanks a lot! Hopefully a clean and a press should influence the grade a tad (if at all) ~
  15. Thanks so much -- much appreciated! Hopefully CGC will show me mercy

  19. Cost around £52 but had to purchase this, as I've never seen this item outside one photo in the past -- least of all with all the other pogs and everything else from SDCC '93 ...
  20. I was wondering whether and clean and/or press could improve the grade?
  21. Still wondering if I could potentially get this pressed to a higher grade ~
