Black Canary/Oracle: Birds of Prey #1 has a cover date of 1996, but it was released on November 21, 1995 (and has mention of that in the book which I have). It'll happen

Showcase 96 #3 was released in 1996, whereas Black Canary/Oracle: Birds of Prey #1 was released in 1995; ergo, it's the first appearance.

We know that Warner Bros. are interested in bringing the Birds of Prey team into the DC Extended Universe, but I'm wondering will that do good for the actual comic Black Canary/Oracle: Birds of Prey #1, which so happens to be the first appearance of the team in question. In part the thread's about the issue of Black Canary/Oracle: Birds of Prey #1 in general, and whether or not it would increase in value and desire if such an announcement was made; given the age of the comic and the fact that DC seems rather focus on it's women-based adaptions too, starting with Wonder Woman, and among one of the reasons I believe they'll be working on an Amethyst adaption at some point. I mean it's a 1995 based comic with a great deal of potential; especially with how The Batman Adventures #12 increased dramatically. What do you think? All comments are welcomed.

In April, I paid $63.88 for Man of Steel #17, 18 and 19 in NM ~ #17 in 2nd print and #19 was signed by Mike Carlin, I believe (albeit no certificate). Was this a good buy?

Well because thats why the DC Extended Universe are focusing on now; plus it'd be an excuse for DC to heavily delve into the Magical universe; similar as to how Marvel are delving into the supernatural aspects with Dr Strange ~ Suicide Squad: Enchantress Dark Universe: Constantine Dark Universe: Zatanna Dark Universe: Madame Xanadu (rumored) Dark Universe: Phantom Stranger (rumored) Dark Universe: Sargon the Sorcerer (rumored) Dark Universe: Zatara (rumored) The only reason I feel Amethyst is a true possibility is if a Legion of Super-Heroes film is announced; to which it was rumored, then you'd have to introduce Mordru at some point with a Legion of Super-Heroes film, then you'd most likely have to bring in the element of Gemworld which falls back to Amethyst. This is one of the reasons I'm totally sure they'd explore Amethyst at some point ~ Just wait till Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ends.

It's alright ^_^ True, but given Zatanna's importance within JLD it'd be unrealistic for her not to be included ~ And there's the rumored Legion of Super Heroes adaption; Mordru not being the ultimate villain too would be rather large missed opportunity.

Enchantress is being played by Cara Delevingne in Suicide Squad ~ Guillermo del Toro confirmed Zatanna's appearance in the Justice League Dark film.

Exactly :3 Enchantress will appear, and Zatanna is all but confirmed ~ Amethyst is the only logical choice to follow ~
