  2. I picked up a couple of pieces at Comic-Con, incuding this page from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes by Scott Kolins. Also, I took lots of pictures at Comic-Con, which are posted in my Comic-Con Report entries on the Mighty Mighty MOC-BLOG: http://midohiocon.blogspot.com/search?q=comic-con+report
  3. I have a few new additions to my John Byrne original art collection. The art for the Namor double-page spread came in two parts: The first scan is the original pencils and inks and the second is the finished art with the duoshading over a copy of the original art. The other pieces are sketches done by Byrne in the end-pages to my Alpha Flight, Marvel Team-Up and Iron Fist bound volumes. Check out theThe Mighty Mighty MOC-BLOG for photos of my visit to Byrne's studio.
  4. Fred Hembeck recently finished a series of four commissions for me. The piece below is the one of the commissions featuring the lead characters appearing in Fantastic Four nos. 251-275, which is one of my favorites runs in that title’s history. Click here for a link to a high-resolution scan so you can see Hembeck's genius work in its full splendor.
  5. A page from my favorite issue from John Byrne's run on Namor The Sub-Mariner.
