  1. "D" Copy of Shadow V3 #10. There is just such a grisly raw feel to this cover.
  2. I can't get over this cover. Just love it. Grandpa was also a lumberjack back in the day so that definitely resonates, but love the colors and the composition. Especially Felix's Plaid Jacket.
  3. "Ice Cold Lemmonade 1cent a glass for the bennyfit of the soldiers an sailers" C'mon...Adorable!
  4. A real whole-some-ness to this cover. Story of Lou Gehrig.
  5. Awwww, wook at those cute itsy bitsy ghouls in pajamas and doughy eyes.
  6. I know I'll stoke it back up. July august always really busy. Honestly I think I sold it helping someone to fill their hole only to find out it was my one and only.
  7. Have a book that just makes you gush with butterflies? It's adorable, it's cute it makes you feel that all is right in the world when you look at it? I'm going to start this off with a cover that I simply ADORE. SO CUTE.
  8. @jimjum12 speaking of Pogo, I recently became the proud papa of this Animal Comics #1
  9. Absolutely love this cover. The Color Palette, composition, expression on faces. Dig-It-Man. Courtesy of @X_Phile thanks brudduh!
  10. These Skywald Magazines provide extreme bang for your buck. If you have not experienced them and are a fan of GA/PCH stuff, venture into this area. You will not regret it. - bounty
  11. Rick fondles all of his lovelies.
  12. What up O-A-K!!! @oakman29 the horn sounded and thee brethren come a marching. @punksdropdirtysrh yeah I have seen 9.4 CGC books with abraded corners (common in magazine manufacturing) and color breaking creases (very tiny) to corner. I've seen 9.6's with similar as well. I've seen 9.8's with abraded spine corners (as they are...as said common with magazine manufacturing). From what I have seen CGC grades Magazines pretty darn close to how they grade Golden Age Comics. Now, that is assuming there are not non-color breaking creases all over the book. If so then it's probably below a 9.4 for sure. Hope this helps?
  13. So first cover appearance of a stripper than?!?!
  14. What a JIP! Still looks close enough for me to say "WHATEVER"
  15. Yeah, seems to be a clever trick to keep the level of shock and gruesome-ness but covering their bases in that they are "mechanical" or "robots". Very Sly.
  16. Yep, that is probably the crudest of the run by a mile and was the first that I thought of, though my copy is somewhere buried deep...and didn't want to expel the hours. Thanks for posting, it definitely takes the cake.
