    That's for a guaranteed graded 9.8 though, slightly different than random ebayers selling raw books. Not a bad option for store variants honestly, HOW they received Venom is the main concern here. Which, again, is not going to be confirmed either way. No one can prove they cherry picked, and no one can prove they didn't. We need a whistleblower..........

    Again, the damage issue is NOT from Frankies but from the distributor. A poor decision from the distributor to send the books polybagged to Frankies.

    Yep. This. I had Thunderbolts #7 Checchetto 1:25 variant pre-ordered from DCBS way back in September. DCBS still hadn't filled it while all my other pre-orders for the week of November 30 has shipped so decided to grab a copy from Midtown or ebay as the Bucky / Kobik cover was very pretty. I was quite surprised to find it out of stock from online retailers and there was only one copy selling on ebay and the bidding had already gone up to $34. Honestly couldn't understand why given Thunderbolts has been steadily losing monthly sales (I believe last ish was down to 16K) and earlier issues can be found frequently in dollar bins. A quick Google search shows this was featured as a hot pick on CBSI. Alas, my LCS doesn't have it either. They've cut down on their Thunderbolts order because it just wasn't selling and they still have a lot of back issues on shelf. I'm probably one of the few customers buying this title. I've got a $15 limit for variants so I think I'll just wait for this to go back to more sane pricing in case DCBS cancels my order. Exactly !!!!

    I think you meant to say that you are just mad that you dont own one. Furthermore, the art is spectacular, the artist has a huge following. Also, I've really enjoyed the story so far, excellent plot and writing Valiant collectors are a much overlooked segment of the market and are back in a major way. These basically don't exist, I was talking to a guy, who's brother is married to the girl who shipped them out from Valiant's Global Headquarters and she said the books were roughed up pretty bad in packaging. It'll be a miracle if a single 9.8 exists. Further, shops didnt realize that they had to do a rain dance while standing on their head to order more than one copy, so while it's claimed it's a 1:50, it's actually more like a 1:1776 I mean, I own my 17 copies in 9.8 already, so I don't even care whether they go up or down, I'd never sell one anyway. But dont say it's pump and dump, you are just clearly butthurt that you'll never own this variant of issue #2 of a series you have never heard of, and you never will. Same old comment from you about "you must not have copies". So juvenile. Clearly you are a pump n' dumper. Hyping the book to the lemmings. All you bring to the conversation is nothing but hype; no significance.
