I don't find Gabe to be a bad guy in the least bit - he's just another soul searching for hope in the world. We just watched him take on some of the biggest trolls on this forum here and handled himself pretty assuredly.

Those here passing judgement on him... THAT is what is sad.

When I was 23 I thought I knew more than everyone, definitely would not take advice from old people (most of who thought I was delusional) made a lot of mistakes, did a lot of dangerous stuff, but hey I made it through.  Gabe actually seems pretty close to normal to me.  Sounds like what it’s like to be 23!  

Gabe Im rooting for you.  I hope it works out and I think you should go meet Sam & sis.  Dude life is scary.  Sometimes you gotta take risks.  Sometimes they don't work out.  And sometimes you get the girl out of your league (and maybe her sister too)

Honestly - if I was Gabe's age again, with no job and nothing really tying me to any particular place - I would 100% go on the adventure of heading to USA to hang with the hot chicks (even if they didn't have superpowers).  Im not sure what the downside is.  How are they working him?  For what he has no $$$?

Dude figure out how to monetize your journal - practically going viral here on the boards.  Maybe get a few pics up of Sam in some of her "flexible" contortionist positions.  That would also shut all these non-believers up!!

Dont you think you will lose her if you don't show yourself to her.  She will think you are the fraud.  Also seems hurtful to her to not even want to actually see her. How do you think that makes her feel.

Duh! Everyone knows that - if you guys havent seen it there is A good documentary show about people with super powers its called Heroes - I highly recommend it.  Its incredible to know that there are people with superpowers, but they have ordinary problems like the rest of us.
