    The top SEC teams this year in order as follows:

     

    1) Auburn

    2) South Carolina

    3) Alabama

    4) Arkansas

    5) LSU

     

    SEC Championship will be Auburn vs. South Carolina or Alabama vs. South Carolina

     

    in either scenario for the SEC championship, SC is going to have some problems.

    and by problems, I mean losing.

    what do you think this might be worth? GPA has record of an 8.5 selling for $3200 in '03 and an 8.0 for $3500 in '06. checked the CGC census and this appears to be the highest graded, albeit restored, copy. the colors and white on this book really pop in hand. :cool:

    that is a stunning looking copy... unfortunately, the trimming will really take a toll on value...if it was just slight, with no trimming, i would say 50% of unrestored value...with the trim, 25% is most I would pay or value it at...so let's say an unrestored 9.0 would sell for 4K or so, then I would value this copy at 1K or so...give or take

    I know it's not the right place to sell a book but what the hey...this book is COMPLETELY unrestored and I bought it from a guy in humboldt county who said it was the last one in existence.

     

    5 billion dollars asking price.. and yes, it's pressed and convicted.

    You will know soon enough, I have an email in to find out your exposure here Krypto . You have a huge mouth, I certainly hope you are ready to back it up ? (shrug)

    I'm not trying to egg you on in this situation. But last time something blew up, you threatened people, promised to F their mothers, and all sorts of irrational challenges.

     

    I'd recommend not going down that path again, and threatening fellow board members. Especially sending emails demanding someone's personal info, which CGC would never expose themselves like that without a court order.

     

    Just go the path of truth, and if anything after looking this book over you felt CGC made a mistake. It is very clear this is the same book.

     

    The only mistake was not revealing in the sales thread this was formly graded by CGC and pressed. I think that is what has folks up in arms, and rightly so.

     

    Bosco...Thanks for taking a rational approach here with this comment. You are right about "last time" I did blow up and I shouldn't have. I am not making any threats here....I am simply stating the facts....Krypto has defamed me publicly, if I have legal recourse I will in fact be taking that path. No threats....just hoping he is ready to back up his very big mouth . I have done nothing wrong here. Just because I have sold the books doesn't make me guilty, also have done nothing to him personally . I should know by tomorrow what recourse I have of a legal sort.I also have a call into someone that actually witnessed me selling the CGC 8.5 at WonderCon.

     

    Just give it up already.

    No, seriously, just like many other board members I overlaid the images in Photoshop and they are a perfect match.

     

    You didn't sell it at Wondercon.

    You didn't sell it on ebay.

    You cracked it & tried to sell it here.

     

    You have no legal recourse.

    The action thus far:

     

    - Raw book listed for sale on the boards as 9.2 was cracked out of an 8.5 slab.

    - PQ graded c/ow by CGC represented as ow by the seller of the raw copy

    - Pressing undisclosed by the seller of the raw copy

    - The two books are unequivocally the same, but the seller of the raw copy claims otherwise

    - Group psychology in play leads to pitchforks being brandished and torches being lit in search of the seller of the raw copy

    - The seller of the raw copy is a shill and has a track record of problematic board interaction

    - Inevitable thread entropy leads to threat of legal action by seller of the raw copy

     

    Conclusion:

     

    Nobody is making their families proud here. There are a number of board members who sell raw comics here and have high integrity - they deserve the lion's share of the business.

    I would post the book here if I still had it. I recenly sold the book at Wonder Con . Having said this I admit the books look almost identical, however even though they are very similiar, they are not the same book . Apparently I can not clear my name here because I don't have any evidence to refute your claims that I am guilty, however a person is not guilty because they can not prove their innocense . I will be pursuing a legal opinion regarding your defamatory statements here. I will not be subject to defend every ridiculous claim made here.

    Thanks to anyone keeping an open mind regarding this as this isn't the "end of the world", but it does suck considering I have done zero wrong here.

     

    A threat of legal action, some one called it in an earlier post.

     

    We won't be at the bottom of this until the trump card is pulled and he mentions "Nazis". :P

     

    I don't have much comedy on lawyers involvement with comics, but I DO have a bit on those narsty narzis... enjoy. we can all relate to a comic deal gone bad.

    I think if he ever gets outed for all the things he's allegedly done it'll make a great book/movie deal and his child support can come from that.

     

    here's a way to solve two problems: have nick cage produce and star in the movie on D's story.

     

    1] pay off nick's increasing debt and

    2] get bail money for danny.
