  1. No, Milton Caniff's Steve Canyon #939 is cover-dated September 1958 and was on sale in October of that year, while OAAW 83 has a cover date of June 1959 and an on-sale date of April 1959.

  5. I know it looks like there is tape pull going across the cattails, but it is actually just part of the artwork. This tear on the back cover measures 1.75 inches: I just checked and do not think it is.
