I had the opportunity to meet with Jerry Eiger in his apartment in the early 1980's. I was about to publishing Lance Carrigan Of The Galactic with Jay Disbrow at that time. Mr. Eiger was nice enough to show me the original art for Planet #1. He declined my offer to purchase it. Lol.
Great story! Thanks for sharing that.

I was super fortunate to have met Jon Berk, though only once, at the unforgettable Preview Night that ComicConnect organized in 2017 in advance of the auction. The books and original art on display (including the OA of Planet Comics #1 !!!), were breathtaking. He was very gracious discussing GA books with a N00B like me, and when I told him that Lou Fine's Jumbo Comics #10 was one of my favorite books, first, his eyes sparkled, and next, he suddenly pantomimed the full grand pose and arc where the hero has just flung his spear into the monster's flesh. I'll never forget that moment. Long Live Jon Berk!!!

That's going to do it for tonight - guessing most of our East Coast friends are fast asleep by now - more to come. I can already tell I'm likely going to regret posting many of these books. You certainly won't see them everyday.
Frickin' fantastic books, Mark!!!

- The first "take it" posted in the sales thread wins. If we reach a deal via PM, I'll mark the book SOLD in the thread as soon as reasonably possible. However, if someone else 'takes' the book in the thread before your PM take is acknowledged in the thread (by either you or I), the thread poster is the winner, I'm afraid; so, there is some risk of losing a book if you try to remain anonymous via PM.
- Payment: Personal checks or USPS money orders are preferred. I'll expect payment within 7 calendar days of invoice, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements)
- Time payments are available, with 20% non-refundable deposit and installment payments, so purchase is paid in full no later than 60 days (please PM first). If monthly installments are more than 10 days late or payment is defaulted, the 20% deposit will be retained by the seller but the rest of the monies will be returned to the buyer and the sale will be nullified. I reserve the right to not take time payments.
- Shipping costs: USA: $18. I ship USPS Priority with signature required. Canada: $30.
Thanks for looking! Happy to field questions, counteroffers, etc.
