  1. This issue of VOH #12 has just come up on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262414014023 It is one of only two books I need to complete the run, so I was pretty excited to see one come up. The bottom edge clearly looks to have been trimmed (badly) though. Am I wrong?
  2. Just won this at auction: Only two issues left to complete the run! (#12 & #34) [/img]
  3. Speaking of 'The Thing'... Can anyone enlighten me as to why issue 16 is especially common in nice grade? I assume that there was a warehouse find of multiples of this specific issue at some point?
  4. Wednesday is just about over here in Melbourne, I'd better get in quick: [/img]
  5. One of my most treasured books: [/img]
  6. Just in! EC's first horror cover. Low grade example but still caused quite a bidding frenzy on eBay. I'll upgrade when something affordable shows up. (unfortunately NOT the CGC 9.2 going for $2,900.00 USD on eBay right now) [/img]
  7. This arrived in the PO Box today... This issue doesn't seem to come up quite as often these days (even for an EC), [/img]
  8. Hello all, I have spent a lot of time reading this thread and thought it was high time to say hi. I am a collector based in Australia, which means that all pre-code books come at a very high premium due to shipping costs and the U.S/AUD dollar exchange rate. There is 0% chance of finding pre-code horror at a thrift shop or garage sale here - the comics just never made it out here. That said: The 70's/early 80's Gredown horror reprints seem to be selling for higher and higher. I am working on completing my mid-grade VOH run and am only 3 issues off (34, 14 and of course 12). I know full runs of EC are merely a starting point for you guys. Anyhow, here is one of my latest additions which arrived in the PO box with much fanfare!
