I am expecting my variant back from cgc this week. It was graded 9.8. Not too shabby considering I bought this raw copy off eBay a few months ago:

They've subtly changed some of the story elements. Who dies. How they die. Etc. I am betting this one event will stay faithful to the comic book. Next season the opening scene is going to be Glenn's mangled hamburger head smothered into the dirt with 10 other people gawking in horror.

Glenn gets the bat on the show. It makes the most sense. I don't think the show would off a barely alive pregnant woman. Glenn dies. Maggie still loses the baby. I bet she has an ectopic pregnancy and will require emergency surgery at the Hilltop when this is all over...

You can't please everyone and as we all know... the show ain't the comic book. I didn't think that the way Rick's group was rounded up was all that far fetched. There are only so many roads to travel to get where they needed to go...

As far as Negan's time on screen... I thought he was portrayed pretty well. I like Jeffrey Dean Morgan. If this show was on HBO then I am pretty sure Negan's dialogue would have been a lot different and more in line with the comic. I think that the writers/producers of this show are going to try to milk as much as AMC will allow, but there is no way they can be absolutely faithful to the comic.
