I think that Terror Tales Issue #2 (V1 #8) gives over 95% of Pre-Code Horror books a hard run for their money.  And really needs to be understood by the greater comic community for this "historical significance".  Meatgrinder is right up there as well.

@SAKI great copy!  Glad that you were able to scoop one up.

bounty_coder I agree with you! So many criminally underrated magazines covers.

Thank you! I was lucky to find this nice copy a few months ago (After a couple of years searching for the right one..(:)

No story behind them unfortunately.  First one came because a boardie (thanks SAKI) was kind enough to point me to a listing in a Heritgage auction in my WTB posting.  That's what I love about this community and everyone helps each other.

Second one just came in a few months later and I couldn't pass it up since census count is so low in high grade and the book doesn't come up too often.

    Congratulations Riddler. Amazing books! :headbang:

Creepy 1 in 9.4 (no signature) means very little to me. Higher grades are available at a much lower price. I want the Frazetta sig.

There are two Frazetta 9.4's for Vampi #1 that I would want even more, but will they ever come to market? I doubt it.

Getting a verified Frazetta signature on a book from 1964 that contains his last story and is also the highest graded does it for me.

I mean, Frazetta has passed away. He was amazing. The number of his verified signatures will not increase.

Frazetta signature on this book that I was able to obtain sealed the deal for me.

Can you take a pic of the treasure and show us? Thanks
