I have no idea what those are... the original Red background was the Bulletproof Comics covers (without flaming swords). The NYCC convention cover had blue background with the flaming swords.

    ???

These are also a con-variant, I believe we were hoping to have these for Baltimore 2017. They too had a print run of 1000.

    Blue background was NYCC 2017.

Doesn't sound like him from my experience.  To be fair, he just wrapped up a con at DC so he is probably a bit behind on his admin stuff.   You should PM Polirer (Fred) here as he also does consulting work for them from time to time.

I spoke with Hank, nonetheless he is shocked by this post and is of course more than willing to help as always.

as we’ve all experienced BP provides great customer service and Hank has integrity as an LCS owner.

ill be sending Tec a pm with directions.

seriously though, anyone with a problem at BP feel free to message me. If anything I can at least give guidance and Maybe help resolve.

Looks like Scott’s collectables is releasing a mega rare first time only cgc graded , signed and sketched but dell’otto first ever horizontal art for upcoming where’s Wolverine arc. This is image I believe th cover is and what a stunner. It’s actaully pretty old from 2004ish and was exclusive extra wide lithograph only realesed at Angloume fest in France. Rare print today I’m sure it will gather more attention now because of this cover. I don’t understand all recycled art it’s actually disturbing how bad Marvel is ripping us off.

I’ve confirmed this will be the art, the OA is actually owned by a Scott’s employee.

it will be there Cover for The hunt for Wolverine 1. Waiting to get some more info, when I have it will share.

That’s not what I wanted you to post lol. Thanks for that but the invoice that had print run on it. I think it’s a very important tool for collectors to know how many were made or at least an approximation if that’s possible.

Oh ha ha ha ha.... well as I said... it was given to me in confidence... so I’m not at liberty to share publicly.

Why don’t you post details as documentation to the sale especially the og invoice . That to me is really important and not private information at all. Should be shared

Technically it is private. But I do have the buyers permission, of course some things have been redacted.

I’ll be posting this week. Thanks please be patient

    The ASM 667 sale update

So I did receive about 7 to 10 offers, and alas did decide to part with the book.

The sale actually was private and not on eBay and I accepted $12k.

    Interpret that how you like.

Most know I purchased it roughly 6 months ago for $10k, so for me a 20% return in that quick amount of time was good for me, especially with no fees.

I will miss owning this book, but it is off to a good home and shipped today.

If you have any questions feel free to message me.

Maybe you could make a separate thread for this "experiment"?

    Sorry for bothering you.

I believe this to be relevant to this forum as it is a Dell’Otto book oft debated here.

few of us own it. And I’m sure they’d like to see what it’s value is.

Go in and set your minimum amount so that you won't get bothered by those really low ball in the hundreds offers.  7k is decent but not where you want to be......... minimum 10k for serious offers.

I want to see the offers. Thanks Pete!!!

the low balls were a troll.

So I’m going to test the waters with my ASM 667. I’m a list it as a BIN obo on the bay at $20,000 and see what happens.

Everyone  is going nuts for Dell’Otto let’s see how nuts.

will keep you updated on offers.

First offer received: $100 ha ha ha ha

Second offer received (same person): $150

Yea I know it’s not BP’s fault really. Just a bummer it’s taking so long. I just want them to arrive by April 5th so I can take them to a convention to be graded on site.

Wait are you going Lake Como?

    FINALLY geeeeez

perhaps they can just ship it along with #6 then. Would’ve really liked to see them give a coupon or discount for a future order.

It was DCs fault BP worked hard for all of us to get the reprint to happen. The coupon should come from DC.
