  4. Check out Bulletproofcomix.com for the b&w version of metal 2. It's Hot!!!!
  5. Let's just say it's being worked on and I ordered one just in case
  6. First I'm not Hank, I'm just a good friend of his. Hank is the owner of Bulletproof. All Metal Dell'Otto covers were originally Bulletproof exclusives, just like the DKIII Dell'Otto covers. Since Dell'Otto, was appearing at LSCC he called Hank and asked for a favor to print 1,000 convention virgin exclusives on top of the 1,0000 Bulletproof virgins that were already ordered. Without that favor requested by Dell'Otto there would only be the Bulletproof virgin in existence. So Hank agreed, with Dell'Otto getting 500 and Hank 500. In my opinion the rarest is the Bulletproof Virgin signed by Dell'Otto, it'll have a special cgc label, and a surprise.. Print runs are the same on convention and Bulletproof virgins, both are 1k. Future covers will be Bulletproof exclusives, I don't know what the backs will look like as I haven't seen them yet.
  7. From Bulletproof: DC has/will replace most of the Metal #1 store variants. We are expecting the shipment tomorrow, Thursday. Bulletproof will inspect all the books and upon inspection, we will destroy all the damaged books we still have to keep the integrity of the print run intact. Now this does not mean all the books will not have this spine crease problem. The replacement might still have the same problem. But we will save all the books that have the least amount of creases. Again to keep the print run intact to it's original numbers. We will shoot a video of this process next week and put it on our website. If yours is severely damaged on the spine and you feel yours should be replaced please contact us at redkevlar5@aol.com to discuss further steps. Thanks, Hank.
  8. Thanks all, when it arrives, I'll decide. And let you know! In the meantime I appreciate everyone's comments
  9. I had an ASM 300 slabbed as a 9.8 cracked open to get signed by Stan, McFarlane, And Michelinie. Came back a 9.4. I talked to the facilitator he pressed on his dime. It came back a 9.8. But I was stressed.
  10. I plan on holding for a long time, only way I sell is if there's a family emergency.
  11. Would an ASM 15 command more with Stan's sig?
  12. There's something about keeping it pure and not risking the 9.8. Rich_Henn is my go to presser he's taken 9.2s up to 9.8s. So can he take it to a 9.9 or 10, don't know. If Dell'Otto doesn't appear at NYCC we already know Stan won't so we'd need a facilitator. Plus how much would these sigs add to the book value?
  13. Now that would be interesting a 9.9, how much would that make the book be worth?
  14. I thought I shared, Dell'Otto is supposed to make an appearance at NYCC. Just need to figure out where Stan will be.
  15. So question for all... do I leave the ASM 667 as is blue label, have Stan Lee sign, have Dell'Otto sign, or have both Stan and Dell'Otto sign?
  16. I remembered that statement " earlier this year a 9.8 sold for $9k" when talking with my wife and where to set our offer.
  17. Thanks J. It was listed around 3/4ish est. spoke with my wife. She knows my appreciation of Dell'Otto and also appreciates his work. We discussed what we were willing to pay, emailed the seller, he came back $2k away. I asked can we split the difference. He said he needs to think about it, then said yes. Done deal 8:13. What surpassed the 667 for a moment until my purchase?
