Yeah Dark Magician Girl MFC-000 seems to be a huge grail... I was shocked that a unslabbed mint copy sold for $1800 in the last few days on ebay... I remember seeing raws for a hundred bucks... I will be curious to see if it continues its meteoric rise like that Pokemon grail or will it level off.... Really???? What grade? I remember when dark magician girl was 40 dollars... then the next thing I knew, it shot up to 799 for a grade 9.... Now its about a $1800 for that grade... and we aren't even close to the rule of 25.

Number 1 trending video on youtube is some guy picking up a slabbed pokemon card for 100k. I have no idea who he is but it was really fun watching him pick up his grail. I don't know much about pokemon cards but the way they talk is very similar to how we collect our keys especially when I watched him on Heritage bidding in the 2nd video (also loved seeing the Frazetta painting in the background) . Looks like there is a lot of nostalgia about pokemon cards now because its about the 20 year anniversary... Just wait for those Yugioh cards- Dark Magician girl MFC 1st edition is probably the next big bad card to spike hard.

23,000+ are slabbed by CGC only don't forget about the other companies... there are way more that are raw copies plus Slabs by CGC's competitors out there, and 4,000 is a ton of NM+ slabs only by CGC . There will be more 9.8s as more raws get slabbed.

Well you own 80 copies or want to own that many. So your feelings toward this is different than mine. I just own one Newsstand. I think it's feeling like a bubble to me. ... instead of paying 5K for near-mint ASM 300 I'll probably look towards a low-grade X-Men 1 for that amount of money. But then again take my thoughts with a grain of salt. It's just my opinion.

They may want it but will they be willing to pay the premium? I think this may go up temporarily but a lot of people will probably sell once they see these prices. That will flood the market because there is A LOT... I think some people will be caught bag holding these This isn't tmnt 1 first print with 3000 copies... slabbed and raw together....

It just boggles my mind that there are over 23,000 slabs! There are probably just as many raws if not more.... Hearing those numbers makes me more of a bear on this specific comic.
