  1. No templates. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and just recently got this tablet after seeing what's possible when you can manipulate your image digitally. It makes correcting mistakes easier when you can enlarge portions on a big screen instead of erasing on a fixed size surface like paper, which now I'll never run out of along with ink or coloring implements that are all built into the software making things super convenient. I also appreciate the compliment but there's always room for improvement. I've just always loved drawing superheroes and try to pick up things from my favorite artists. I hope to be as good as some of them one day but being close to 50, who knows. I'll just keep enjoying it for as long as I can.
  2. Some older dvds have the "anaglyph" 3d glasses from before the 3d smart tv were produced. I know I have an old copy of spy kids 3d that came with a few pairs
  3. Started this one just as figure drawing practice and just let it take shape as "whoever" until it became Cap.
  4. How do you use the bathroom?
  5. Added some details to Rhino and pencilled in Juggernaut for what may be an epic battle before inks and colors...to be continued
  6. A solid investment- companies that manufacture comic long/short boxes. Your gonna need a place to store all those Saga, Walking Deads, indies, variants and cracked out cgc graded books who's value drops like a ton of bricks because the demand is no longer there and the dollar bins will be bursting at the seams
  7. This is something you learn to expect when dealing with strangers over the interwebs. Sometimes it's life getting in the way of what we want to do but sometimes it's just an "enigmatic personality" that you end up pulling out your own hair trying to figure them out.
  8. Finds in the wild and not necessarily about a key book or something of a monetary winfall; I might be rummaging through a dollar bin and come across an artist I'd never heard of but their style jumps out at me. Since it may not be a book that's in high demand, it affords me the pleasure of seeking out that artists run or other books I had no idea existed.
  9. I was gonna say "God" but that would just open a can of worms the minute it's taken out of context
  10. Took a little break and went back to finish it up:
  11. ...and a little something I'm working on now that I've become a bit more familiar with my tablet:
  12. Took one of my creations and stuck him in the jungle with a couple of "special guests"
  13. Will try that; I know I'll eventually rework it like the Silver surfer I'm about to post below this
  14. Thank you. I'm a bit more critical of my work and am always looking to improve but I'm always appreciative and humbled when someone likes my stuff.
  15. After about a month of the box just sitting there I finally opened it up and started messing with my new art tablet. It's taking some getting used to but I'm having a blast figuring this thing out
  16. Roughed out an idea I had called "the wounded ronin".... Inspiration hasn't been easy to come by lately but I felt a need to draw
