  1. Then "yes", I would...especially if I was on my deathbed. I'd use my entire life's savings on clones just to saturate the market as a final jab to all the dealers that ever overcharged for a book; not only that but I'd first tell my family to sell about 100 of the copies to those dealers before releasing the others into the collector community so the dealers would all shart themselves and I'd go to my grave laughing
  2. Would it clone them in the grade they're in?..Wouldn't make much sense to clone a copy that's falling apart just to make another copy that's falling apart
  3. Just another example of greed and profiteering from others work. It's one thing to know it exists in the back of your mind but seeing it without knowing the scale of how much goes on is another reason to despise people and question legit owners. This came up in my feed a few days ago. I thought I'd share with you guys:
  4. I use them just as another option to ebay, cl, etc. Just like any other, you still have to sift through legit buyers and a-holes but I have to say I've had the least complications selling on fb. Auctions can be iffy as sellers can have people they know or multiple accounts drive up the price if they know there's enough interest but if you're comfortable paying a price for something, so be it.
  5. I would imagine their angle is to get a potential buyer to try and make the sale outside of ebay to avoid fees but if it sells through BIN they'd still make enough of a profit. I've seen sellers of all kinds of specialty items conduct business this way.
  6. You open yourself up to all kinds of buyers on ebay. You dealt with the problem in a way that satisfies both parties so that's a win for you. Bigger headache averted. If I think a buyer is being a "D"-head, I'll usually do something so their plan backfires on them. I'm never desperate to make a sale (not saying you are either) so refunding a jerk and blocking them from future auctions is fine with me.
  7. I may be the exception but my point is its not always a scam. I'm not trying to back the seller because we all know scammers exist but some bidders can also be obnoxious when making requests
  8. Not true. I never take extra pic requests and I have flawless feedback dating back to 2001.
  9. So many lowballers trying to get a deal outside of ebay...smh. The greed is astounding
  10. The Deathlok Cap cover was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the topic but since the op beat me to it, here's another cool one
  11. When I was a kid it was fairly normal to go into a Woolworth or neighborhood diner for lunch and grab a comic from the rack or magazine display. As I became an adult (physically), I thought those had gone the way of the dinosaur. I was totally shocked to see books in a deli one morning as I was grabbing a newspaper (ironically, thought these were discontinued too). I looked around to check if I'd stepped into a time warp.
  12. Hulk because I only wish I got stronger with anger too; makes me believe his strength is limitless
  13. I noticed the spine stress by the top staple on the back cover but what do you guys think?
  14. I was thinking blonde Bruce Wayne and Wonder Woman with a mohawk, piercings and tats...but I'm the racist?
  15. Wait until they start the "diversity hires" for those roles in progressive hollywood
  16. I've sold a few books but you're still gonna get lowballers. If your prices are fair and firm though, you'll eventually get a legit buyer. Patience though. You might also try one of many buy/sell groups too. More options improves your sales
  17. Didn't see anything about that in this section but I'm not trying to circumvent any rules. I've seen other links to auctions in here but if a mod closes my post, I understand
  18. Yes (screennames) I wouldn't promote someone else's sale in here. I can only vouch for myself
  19. No, never sold in the forums before. This was the first time I'd even linked an ebay sale over here. Surprised that book would even get any attention considering the other books in the pics. It just happened to be in the handful I pulled out
  20. It's embossed foil but it's not showing up in the pic. I couldn't say to compare it to any other version of a cover but if it's "regular", so be it
