  1. 1st Modern Age General Zod (I believe) (4 copies available) $ 3 NM/MT
  2. I have a bunch of modern raw books I'm selling to cheap to clear out some books. All comics are bagged/boarded. No HoS's Paypal only Free Shipping on orders of $10 or more. wins. Orders under $10 are subject to a 3.49 shipping fee. Action 683 NM+ $3
  3. He just uses the old "Buy what you love" excuse, since the real money to be made is in gold/silver stocks. As well as overpriced cars.
  4. Just a great cover, found a 9.4 White but If I wasn't saving for a Hulk 181 9.4, I'd grab that.
  5. Need an ASM 607 CGC 9.8? This copy is exceptional and 9.8's don't appear on the open market often. Get yours now before someone else does! https://www.ebay.com/itm/182841350442
  6. Restored is only accepted if you have an action 1 or detective 27, other than that, go unrestored and save up for one, it's only a few grand
  7. Some guy on a Facebook group posting his copy in 9.8 saying it's a modern age grail smh
  8. I've already sold an Iron man 55 7.5, Dark Knight Returns 1 9.8, Marvel Graphic Novel 4 9.8, Tales To Astonish 65 9.4 this week and am saving up for a Hulk 181 9.4 White, Still don't have enough, gonna need at least 6K before I can go shopping.
  9. Yes and Yes, There's plenty of hard to find books out there that don't command big money.
  10. You're right, it's not rare or hard to find in high grade. But it IS in demand. Same can also be said about Hulk 181. I think you are having a hard time wrapping your head around the high prices being paid for this book. People spend more on what they want, not what they need.
  11. I paid $10 for one that came back a 9.8 I got when I was at the Hartford comic con in 2013, sold it for $175. This book came at the tail end of the detective comics run when print runs were low. Anyone else noticing that all these non keys that go for crazy money in 9.8 all seem to be DC?
  12. I remember when X-files 1 was a $100 book back in the early 90s. This book is just a flash in the pan. Don't waste your $$$ on it
  13. I got the grade on my JSA Classified 1 It looked like a surefire 9.8 until I saw 2 small blisters on the back cover due to too much heat from the heatset oven when they printed the book, I was wondering if CGC would downgrade the book over a production flaw. Came back 9.4 Grader Notes "Printer's bubble Back Cover" So now we know they do downgrade books for production flaws. Book was flawless except that.
  14. Nope, it just is. People need to remember that this era was considered junk for years, thrown around in back issue bins with the other misfit comics only for people to realize "hey...wait a minute...:
  15. I sold this, It's a super tough book in 9.8. I offered it to a board member when I first got it for $350 and it was on his want list, said it wasn't centered enough, so I put it on eBay. Took about a month and half to sell. Sold a 9.4 for $99.95 same day as I listed it. People who say copper is junk are really missing the boat, there's gold in them copper mines!
  16. It'll be fine, Any book is gradable as long as it has a cover on it.
