  1. No idea why Comiclink keeps saying that the artist was Mcfarlane on those Spawn pages, Mcfarlane stopped penciling spawn at issue 25 then Capullo took over but mcfarlane did ink them.
  2. It's hardly worth the time and trouble to send it back over a small typo. I've had much worse and CGC took care of it.
  3. No such thing as "printing roller marks" because the rollers never touch the paper as it's being printed
  4. Some of these stories are nothing. Boston show August 1999 "What's the highest graded Hulk 181 you have?" Bob Storms "Near Mint" How much is it? Bob "$475" Can't remember what I said Bob "Well what do you wanna pay"? I passed. Walks over to Sol's booth and see's Spider-Man #4 Last page drawn by Mcfarlane (Big building explosion splash) How much is this?" Sol "$400" Me : "Ok I'll take it" Walks over to my older brother Michael. "Hey check this out!!!! Michael "You just spend $400 just now?? Me : Yea, it's Mcfarlane art! Michael "You need to bring that back!" Talks me into it..."Hey, Sol..."
  5. Man, I have got to get me one ah these!! I've put it off for a long time cause they are just so easily available
  6. I used to have the 9.9 of that ASM 300 reprint back in 2001. Didn't sell for much on eBay at the time.
  7. Received 8/23 Modern Status: Verified I'm not expecting them until at least the first week of October to be done.
  8. A thief isn't going to say "man, look at all these comics, I'll just pick the ones I think are valuable" In reality, they'll just take them all cause everyone knows, comics are worth something. They are just looking for something they can sell and get money for, they don't care if it's $10, to them, that's $10 they didn't have before. So if you're really paranoid, put them in a bank safe deposit box and take scans of them, so you can at least look at them when you want. myslabbedcomics.com is great.
  9. Amazon isn't the one selling it, they make a 15% commission from the actual seller. Amazon works a little bit like eBay but has a bigger footprint in the marketplace.
  10. It's all dollar books until it's made into a movie or tv show
  11. It's almost slowly coming down to the point of every store being closed and we all have to shop online now. Our Anti-Social devices aka smartphones give us no reason to leave the house anymore.
  12. What I don't like is when a customer offers you F&F in exchange for you to lower the asking price. They try to use it as leverage.
  13. No it's not BS, You can make eBay templates with pre filled info. Just sit down and make scans and just drop in pictures, if a listing takes you more than 1 minute to put up, you're doing it wrong. Better than being robbed at gun point doing it your way.
  14. Takes less time to scan and post of ebay than it does, loading up the car, driving to where you need to go, wait for the guy to show up if he's late and have him flip through the box then load up the car again and drive back only to unload it all again.
  15. Praying isn't going to do anything, taking action will.
  16. Comic book deal.....drug deal.... Same thing.
