  1. Of course it's against the rules. You can't use eBay for free advertising and then cut them out of the deal. Especially if you used eBay's mail system to communicate.
  2. The problem is that Ebay used to let you write whatever you wanted so you could explain. Now I believe they only let you chose from 3 canned responses. Certainly not ideal. Does the seller know the identity to be able to send a separate message? Yes.
  3. There we go. Have seen Slayer so many since 1985 I've lost count. I saw them at Toads Place in New Haven, holds like 500 people.
  4. If you believe in to each their own, then what's the problem? I say someone sucks, someone else says they don't. Isn't that what you're talking about? It's the same as you do below. Plus Dave is such a pompous that I do believe he expects everyone to like what he likes because, you know, he has such great taste in everything. Hurray for you! I have no idea who that is I know who KRS-One is, does that count?
  5. I have no idea what that means. you saying this makes all of your posts about music a lot more clear to me. the name is kenny wayne shepherd. check him out Oh I've seen him, on Austin Limits on PBS I believe. Is that what his fans call him to be cool, KWS? I understand, I would've used SOAD before but I thought it was too confusing.
  6. I think everyone keeps forgetingi that the drummer is from System of a Down! You know, Sugar, War?, Cigaro... We will fight the heathens, we will fight the heathens...
  7. QFT! You want to hear some guitar playing put on Green Grass and High Tides.

  9. Carlisi is a great guitarist who wrote or co-wrote most of .38 Special's hits. Nobody plays the guitar quite like him, not flashy, but brilliant solos and he can play virtually anything. Check out his website and linked performances with Paul Rodgers. He's also modest and a team player. Must be why he sucks. Well, he may not be a flashy axeman, but 38 Special were a tighter unit with his spot-on leads... Here Carlisi nails the Kossoff solo from All Right Now... .38 Special sucks. I couldn't change the channel fast enough, be it the radio or MTV. Next! bat am i right to guess that you are north of the md line? All my life
  10. I shudder to think who you were channeling when your knob twirling stopped, but that's kewl. Your ham-fisted puns don't make sense to anyone under 60. TVs had knobs? Anyway, the only knob whose buttons I've pushed is you.
  11. Wow, did you pick the wrong place to post this Plus you have no proof of anything and you lost out on nothing, so you should apologize to Adam and move on. Wow, guy just posted negative comments in Filters Kudo's thread. Dude, you really need to stop, delete those comments, apologize and move on. Also, what is YOUR eBay handle? From the auction link I'd say his eBay ID is close to the ID he's using here. If you see anyone with working and dog in their name with 1777 positive FB I'd say that's him.

  14. That's one reason why ECs are better than the rest.
  15. Beautiful copy! But can someone explain exactly what is supposed to be happening on this cover? Did the people get on the subway with the arm hanging there? If so, why do they all look so surprised now? Did the person who was holding the handle suddenly disappear and leave just their arm? Did their arm break and they fell to the ground? If so, why is everyone looking at the arm and not at the person on the ground? Did the arm suddenly materialize out of thin air? Great copy of a great book. I bought Vault of Horror 29 and 30 from Bobby Bell in the early seventies for the princely sum of $10 each - marked down (on the bag) from $15. Beautiful copies too (still got 'em). To answer the "what is going on" question, as I recall it was a few medical students who decided to play a few practical jokes with parts of the cadavers they were using in their anatomy classes. Naturally, there was a "get square" E.C. style ending. I like the little gag on the subway advertising - "Stomach Upset?" Oh yeah, Duffman knows his mess!

  17. .38 Special? Why are you trying to sabotage Roy's show? At least pick a good guitarist from a band that doesn't suck .
