Pioneer Picture Stories #5 1942 rare gem by Street and Smith that is just pure awesomeness. Leopards! Has slight dust shadow right edge, a sub crease and wear. Looks like book was only manufactured with one lower staple as it looks like it should be formatted for two. However no marks showing any staple removal of any kind. In my experience Street and Smith publish cheaply with a lot of weird anomalies such as this. Book opens and reads fine despite. Structurally all good! Cream to Off White Pages (3.0) $325.00 $225.00

Don Winslow of the Navy #4 Scarce early issue from 1943 with underwater Nazis! This book has been well loved but is all there! Significant spine roll that some one with pressing wizardry might be able to fix. Would really help the appearance of this book. Has color break creases and wear. Surprisingly single center staple holds onto everything pretty well. Off White Pages (2.0) SOLD

Have a Cigar! MLJ Publishing and Golden Age Archie only!

I shared this in the original art section around 3-4 months ago when it just came in. Figured it was just as relevant in this great thread. Recently got it matted and framed and love how it ended up! You rarely see Bob Montana original artwork outside of a museum capacity. This is Page #16 from Archie’s Joke Book #2 from 1954. Fantastic shots of the whole gang especially Betty and Veronica. I feel very fortunate to have this in my own personal collection. -

I’ve been without an early Pep for a while and used to have a nice #32. Sold it and instantly regretted it. Was fortunate enough to fill the void with this new book that I’m so happy to now own. Great cover and first appearance of Mr. Lodge! -

I voted as well! Didn’t think I would have such a hard time, but seeing the full list made me realize how much talent existed then. Thanks for the fun survey! -
Amazing Ghost Stories #14 Matt Baker PCH Mega Grail CGC 4.5 OFF WHITE TO WHITE PAGES GPA shows a 4.5 sold in October 2019 for $1157.00, a 5.5 sold in May 2019 for $2100.00 and as a CGC board comp I know another 5.5 sold here for around $3000.00 sometime last year. This book only has the potential to go up and does not come up for sale often. Regret even selling it myself but decisions must be made! Let’s find her a good home! $2050.00 $1850.00 1750.00 1600.00
