  1. FWIW, my books did arrive safely this week. I thought the Conan and the 'Tec both could be 9.4s, but whatever. Just happy to have them back. Also, this is the first time I got books with the barcode link to grader notes on the back.
  2. Yep. Back in the 90s, our computers could only count to 8, and years only had two digits. It was a dark time.
  3. You can post pictures in this forum: https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/ If you're willing to spend a little time learning to grade, I recommend the Overstreet Grading Guide. It also would be a good idea for you to do some research around which books have value.
  4. This is what I see when I click the list in your first post. Clicking into it doesn't enlarge it.
  5. Last I submitted, returns via FedEx were only insured up to $100.
  6. Cool books. I clicked on your price list, but it was too small to be legible. You might check out other sales threads here, and emulate their format. I find it is easiest when sellers list just one book per post... GLWTS.
  7. This Economy submission of 10 comics, no pressing, will have taken over a year. Delivered by UPS at CGC: 6/30/21 Reported Received by CGC: 8/25/21 Shipped from CGC: 7/8/22 Currently in Transit via USPS. ETA unknown. Do I win something?
  8. Here's my list. It represents the interest group of People Who Like Awesome Super-Hero Fights. 1. Infinity War 2. Winter Soldier 3. Civil War 4. Endgame 5. Everything Else
  9. I hope CGC fixes this. In the meantime, keep track of your submission numbers. You can still look them up after 8 months.

  11. I've had at least one miss in pretty much every submission. I just factor this overhead into my overall submission plan. Maybe if CGCs pre-screen option was more flexible, it would alleviate this issue. Specifically, they could reduce the minimum required books for pre-screen (currently 25), and allow mixing different grades in one submission. That said, I'm not sure CGC has any incentive to change its current policy.
  12. CHRISTMAS IS SAVED! I'm not sure how "Santa" (i.e. @Kramerica) knew the gaps in my Avengers run, but it was Mighty generous of him to send these Amazing books. I've had a tough week, so it's great to know there are boardies looking out for me. I promise to be nice, not naughty, for the rest of the year.
  13. Hi @HollyJollyOne. Actually, I *did not* get a gift from Tghutcn. Thanks for following up. I should have mentioned it, but I've had a lot on my plate this year. And I wound up with 2 awesome gifts from the raffle, so I guess things karmically balanced out for me.
  14. Stan Lee was already a character in the Marvel Universe going back to the 60's, so it makes some sense. My guess is, they want to enshrine him as a Walt Disney-like figurehead for the Marvel brand. It sounds like fans are afraid they're going to start doing movie cameos with a bad CG version. It's possible, but hopefully they show more restraint...
  15. Please be careful. A lot of mobile-oriented redesigns end up making the desktop experience worse. I am very used to the current site design. It is extremely fast and easy to use, and it is manageable on a phone.
