Nice page...I happen to own the page that precedes it with team X-men panel.
Pm me if you want to put them together.
Chris
What a guy !

Simpsons : Too many to list, but here are a few -
Homer becomes the Hulk with a cameo by Stan Lee.
Homer becomes Mr. Burns' man Friday and goes into the comic store, buys a NM copy of ASM 1 and precedes to tear it into pieces !
Krusty, being taunted by his accountants that he's spending too much money, lights a cigar with a copy of Action 1. (this is a brillant gag)
I believe the show "THE OC" has a character that is a comic geek. - That's what I've been told.
Family Guy also has a ton of referances to Hulk and the Adam West Batman series....
-
I can hear the trolls PMing you ask we speak .......nice haul Niko....you're turning into a dealer.

Okay ive gone through every single website listed on this thread but cannot find the one i was looking at last night. The first page on the website has a piece of artwork from either Captain America or Nick Fury drawn by both Jim steranko and Jack Kirby. Can anybody remember what dealer/collector this on his website..
JC

MEGA Kudos for...
Mike Shuley (cgcfan)** SINCERE THANKS to Mike for putting a DC Bronze Mega Key into my collection... and at a fair price also! Mike is a straight-up, no BS fella that is without a doubt "good to his word". Even after 2+ years he still remembered, and contacted me up to follow through on a long-ago made offer should he ever decide to sell. As usual, he packed it like it was going through hell before it reached me and through in next day express mail to boot! What a beauty!
Thanks Mike!
My pleasure Bruce. as always.....and wait till you get a load of what i am replacing it with....

I just completed a deal on a large ticketed item with Linmoth and he is a pleasure to work with- not to mention, that he did me a favor by selling me the book in the first place !

Please send CBG letters about these kind of things to the attention of Maggie Thompson or John Jackson Miller. It will help alert the community and maybe even force ebay to police their site better.
Also, it may help with any ongoing investigation that MIGHT be happening among law enforcement agencies.
What about filing a complaint with the post office ? - They do have their own investation postal officers and will jump all over this. If he uses US MAIL to commit fraud, then mail fraud will put the scare into him...

Had recent good dealings with:
1) Ninanina
2) Chrisco37
3) Silvermine
4) POV
5) cgcfan
and thanks dam60 again for bidding on another US auction for me!
Thanks Greg....i can't believe this was a first transaction...cough 'avengers 88" cough
-
I gave kudos to 4gem, but not sure if I mentioned Rip...We've done a couple of transactions, spoken on the phone and his wife is going to be a nurse (smart career choice) - He's a class act.
-
Another positive deal(don't know why I didn't mention it before);
Mike (cgcfan): Always an easy guy to deal with....paid when he promised he would, and worked to accomodate my "Paypal only" preference, even though he wasn't actively using his account. (Thanks also to "nextlevelmp") Some of you guys lynched him, and called him a deadbeat because of his mishap with that Superman book, but he's a stand up guy, and you shouldn't hesitiate to deal with him.
I also want to say that not only did Andrew PM me about the Detective books (he knew I would want them for my private collection), but he sold them to me at a price that he could have easily gotten more for them. Andrew is among the elite on these boards for numerous reasons. I would buy/sell/trade/recommend him to anyone...
And I also agree with his assessment of Nextlevelmp. He is a stand up guy and I would have no hestitation about dealing with him.
And the people that I have dealt with that were great transactions..in no particular order:
Bronzebruce
Nextlevelmp
Dam60
Sullypython
Polymphus
Bronty
Bonds25
Captains of Industry
Blazing Bob
Comgeek
Comiclink
DavidKing623
Clobberintime
cgcworld
And people that I hope to do deals with : Greggy, Speedjunkies, Supapimp, Darthdiesel, silveragejedi, drummy and Jordanabigal

Bruce....
Thank you for remembering me in your tribute thread !
I have to be honest here, I completly forgot about the overnight shipping of that book. I felt it was a big purchase and was worried about the book getting lost....(that book isn't the most valuable book in your collection, i know, but it would be tough to get another one in that grade...).I do remember that it was the deal that introduced us and anyone would be hard pressed to find a dealer/collector that is easier to deal with.
And since most people on here know Bruce, or at least know of him, I am probably repeating things, but Bruce is one of the straightest arrows on here...and he ALWAYS remembers who does right by him....
I agree with your assesment of the people you applaud....DAM60, AK, Blazing,Drummy, and many that I haven't mentioned...
-
I'm still drooling to see whats in AK's SA vault.
Tell Me about it !

There are so many great characters out there that would be great film, but I think Ghost Rider in the R rating-type would be awesome....there is so much that they could do with that guy !!! -- Course, other honorable mentions would be :
Werewolf by Night
Green Lantern (Neal Adams)
FF
Justice League
Course, a hero is only as good as the villians...FF with Dr. Doom would be really cool and Justice League with Secert Society of Super Villians would be an unbelivable film......and costly !

I mostly sent in Silver and Moderns, but the first Bronze that I graded was Green Lantern 76 CGC 9.4 (still got it) - But, the first book that I sent in was a ASM 40 that I had bought off Yahoo Auctions for 150.00 and when I had it graded, came back with CGC 9.2 and white pages....and that's when they were going for $700-800 bucks !! ---still got that one too.
-
This is a great question and one that could be debated for ages. I would have to say Green Lantern 76- and not just because I have this in 9.4, but with the release date of April 1970 (several months prior to Conan 1) , but because of the impact this story line (and ish 85 & 86) that Adams and O'Neil brought to the industry. This is my two cents.

Steven,
Where do you get off starting a thread that has to do with comics ? - Who the hell do you think you are going against policy ?! -
You know that this forum is to be used for both personal and business verbal attacks against people that we really don't know all that well....It is for scams, conspiracy theorys and for the general population's misuse. There is to be no mention of postive things or transactions relating to comics. This will be upheld and be strictly enforced. Any devation of this policy will force others to label you a threat, a co-conspirator and possibly a lousy dancer.....![poke2.gif](http://boards.collectors-society.com/images//graemlins/poke2.gif)
