  1. Now, about that “elusive” #4......
  2. Just got the #2, and had them out to put into GA sized mylites, soooooo...
  3. As a self proclaimed lower-grade-afficionado, I prefer books with one or two big flaws. I have a TOS 57 that looks great in the mylar, but has a complete and neat spine split. Doesn't really bother me at all. I have a really nice ASM28 (black cover) with a 2" tear through the entire book. The blacks are really nice on that book, and I think it looks much better than a lot of books with higher technical grades. Now, the kicker is the nature of the major flaw. I hate water damage, and front cover writing, and tape pulls. So...to each his own.
  4. Celebrating completing my JLA #1 - 100 run this week (#s 3 and 9 just got here, and #69 is in the mail). Here is the 1 - 10 group shot. They aren’t high grade (1 is coverless with a reproduction stand in), but they are all mine.
  5. Watch your listing there...should be #14 instead of #13.
  6. Easy transaction from my end. Iggy communicated well, and made a very fair offer on a small bundle of books in my thread.
  7. Going to close this down, and move them elsewhere. Thanks for looking.
  8. During recap, I see I had a screw up on the Strange Stories Of Suspense #15...I will fix that ASAP. Sorry.
  9. Build your own bundle, and I will be thrilled to play Monte Hall (did I just date myself a bit?).
  10. I think that's going to be it for this hodge podge of a thread. I will be happy to entertain reasonable offers (especially on multiple books). I will probably let this run about 48 hours or so, and then close it down. Thanks, all.
  11. Unearthly Spectaculars #2, a Harvey Giant from 1966. Call this one 4.0 with general wear and aging. There is some tanning throughout, and the spine has wear. A stain on back cover too. Overall, the book looks pretty good for the grade as the front cover doesn't have a lot of wear in the middle. It's just around the edges, and makes for a nice presenting cover. $8 shipped in the US
  12. (Peter Cannon) Thunderbolt #53 from Charlton (1966). Nice looking book with good colors and gloss. The covers are tanning a bit, and much more so than the pages. A couple minor tears in the covers, but looks really nice overall. Call it 5.0. $6 shipped in the US
  13. Tomb Of Dracula #50. This one is about 5.0 with some light, but book length creasing near spine. Silver Surfer on this one $6 shipped in the US
  14. Strange Tales #179. Starlin art on this 6.5 sharp book. Would be higher if not for corner creasing on right corners of front cover, and some slight staining on bottom left corner of the back. $14 shipped in the US
  15. Star Trek #1 (1980 Movie Adaptation). Looks about 5.0 - 5.5 with the right edge of the front cover the only big issue. Some creasing/crumpling/wear on that edge. Otherwise, pretty solid with some spine stress. $5 shipped in the US
  16. Justice League Of America #85. This one is a run filler/reader too. Some missing paper at the top staple, but shockingly the cover is still attached Pretty sure someone had the glue stick out on this one. If not for that, I'd call it 3.0-3.5. $5 shipped in the US
  17. Justice League Of America #79 (Copy B). Not as nice...2.5 range. Free to anyone who purchases from this point forward (one freebie per purchase). Must claim this book.
  18. Justice League Of Americe #79 (Copy A). I call this one 5.5. Lays flat and tight with only some general wear. There are some non color breaking indentations on the cover. Pretty solid book overall with no major defects. $8 shipped in the US
  19. Justice League Of America #77 with some water exposure. Still pretty flat cover, and attached at the staples. CF popped at the top one, though. Some rust and migration on both staples, and discoloring on Bats face on the left. A reader at 3.0-3.5 range. $6 shipped in the US
