  2. There are four X-Men books listed (150, 162, 167, 171). Take all four for $5 plus shipping!
  3. X-Men 150, 3.0 or so. Lots of surface wear and reading wear. Somebody was not really careful with this one in the past, but it's attached and complete. FREE to next purchase...must claim. **CLAIMED**
  4. X-Men 171, 4.5, surface wear (most NCB), spine wear, it's been read like all Bronze X-Men should be. $3
  5. True War Experiences 3, 1952, 4.5, slight spine roll, corner creasing, small stain to a few interior pages, tear top edge of front cover...cool book. $9
  6. Thor 164, 7.5, sharp copy with some spine stress and a bit of a mis-wrap. There is some color wear at the spine in Thor's cape, and a small crinkle in the bad guy's left thigh. Nice copy. $18
  7. Teen Titans 27, 4.5, some surface wear and a corner crease or two, top right corner has had some moisture exposure, but pretty hard to detect...staining very minimal IMO, and only really seen on inside of front cover. $5
  8. Tales To Astonish 94, 4.0, this one actually looks its grade with spine and edge wear, a couple chips all the way around (especially see the one to bottom back edge), some surface wear to the cover, etc. Pretty typical VG book in my mind. $6
  9. Tales To Astonish 83, 3.5, this one also looks better until you see the tear running through the logo box and through the Sub-Mariner words...bummer. Also some NCB creasing including one that looks like it might be a sub-crease (but doesn't seem to make it all the way to the top). Also some tearing to the top edge of the back cover. $6
  10. Tales Of Suspense 86, 5.0, looks much nicer with great spine, and nice colors, but some staining to front cover bottom right corner. The staining only affects the front of the cover (doesn't bleed to interior), so I don't think it was from moisture, but so hard to tell. Paper is still flat, and doesn't really feel different. Dust shadow top of back cover, and some foreign substance top right corner back cover (probably can be removed, but I haven't tried. Get a 7.0+ looking book for a much better price. $9
  11. Superman 237, 4.5, corner chip bottom right, abrasion resulting in a tiny loss of paper top left, some corner creasing, spine is tight, and Adams! $5
  12. Strange Adventures 108, 3.5, spine roll, cover pulling at the staples, edge wear all the way around, but no major issues besides the spine...GORILLAS! $10
  13. Showcase 58, 4.5Q, MISSING TWO WRAPS, looks like a solid lower grade copy until you count pages. Grease pencil, general wear. FREE with any other purchase made after this post...must claim.
  14. This will be the last push for this thread. I plan to close this down in the next day or two. Amazing Spider-Man 132, 5.5Q (Missing MVS), solid and flat, spine wear, some surface wear to cover (but most is NCB), nothing major, but plenty of small issues accumulating. $4
  15. Ok...no takers at the discount, so let's do this. All % discounts are now ended. The markdown type discounts are still in effect. I am going to take one more run through the "sell" box to see what might fit in here, or just be interesting in general. I want to wrap this thread in the next 24-48 hours, so feel free to shoot me an offer if there is something that catches your eye. Thanks for the "takes" and the views and the thread-carping.
  16. I am not sure I am a completist, but I am certainly a run-collector. Here are (unfortunately) just a few that I am at least passively chasing (# of missing issues in parentheses if I am close): ASM 1 - 400 (6) Flash 105 - 200 (13) Showcase (12) Teen Titans (9) X-Men 94 - 300 (32) Here are a few that I have completed: Adams Batman/Tecs (I ended up filling in the non-Adams books too, and then expanding in both directions, so these are both really long runs that are complete) Bronze All Star Comics Amazing Adventures/Amazing Adult Fantasy/Amazing Fantasy (reprint on 15 only at this point ) TMNT (original series) 1 - 20 Miller Daredevil run Brave & Bold 34 - 100 Justice League Of America 1 - 100
  17. Chiefs are in the Super Bowl for the first time in my lifetime. Let's celebrate with 25% until 9AM Central. This DOES NOT apply to Crime Mysteries...I am still not in a hurry to sell that one. Also, this is not "stackable" with the 20% above, but it does apply to the lowest specified price on any listing...again, except the Crime Mysteries. That one stays the same price.
  18. I want you to skip ahead in the alphabet. There are a couple runs I am trying to complete nearer the end of the alphabet, and I am an impatient one...
  19. Wow...that definitely looks worse in the picture than it does in hand. Obviously, a cleaning will help, but it looks better here than on my screen.
