  1. SOLD! My Own Romance #43 in VG range. Presents a little nicer but some moisture damage texture on back. Heritage sold a raw FN- in September for $149. VG asking $92 on eBay. A lone 7.0 on census. Colletta cover, pike, Colletta and Hartley inside. $75
  2. SOLD via PM! Love Tales #71 in VG with light foxing on cover. Census ghost; none on there. No comps on eBay or Heritage. Colletta cover; inside you get Tom Sawyer, Pike, and Ann Brewster. $50
  3. SOLD via PM! Love Tales #64 VG, holding back for small stain lower back cover. Colletta cover again; Al Hartley, Jay Scott Pike, Joe Maneely working inside. Plentiful here with three on census. $40
  4. SOLD! Love Tales #63 VG+ maybe VGFN on the right day. Vince Colletta cover, Jay Scott Pike and Ann Brewster art inside. Pretty much a census ghost, with only a Qualified (married cover) 9.4 on the census that was recently sold cracked out. $50
  5. 5 Simple Rules (Please, please read) 1st wins; tie/indeterminate goes to the thread. Payment is Check or Money Order (yeah, yeah I know I'm a dinosaur, troglodyte, luddite, mennonite, hermaphrodite etc. - I just don't have or want e-payments.) Shipping: $10 via USPS Priority legal flat rate, or $17 if Medium Priority Box is required. Don't be listy including the little one in my head. Returns: Sure, just notify me within three days of receipt and get it back to me in the same shape on your dime, except no returns on graded books. (Kudos thread linked under my avatar.)
  6. Beautiful mini-set, BP! Nothing essential left to add, but a nice Hulk #197 might work if you’re still itching to add to it. (Only Man-Thing by Wrightson cover, AFAIK)
  7. Somewhere in the next few days, I’ll be posting a selection of Atlas early post-code romance books, (and one Charlton late pre-code romance). Some you can find, some are census ghosts. Each book from the collection is generally in the lower grade ranges, but presents nicely. (Lower mostly on specific technical flaws than heavy general wear.) Lots of great Vince Coletta covers here, and interiors by the usual suspects of the genre and era, plus a couple unusual ones: Coletta, Pike, Sawyer, Hartley, Ann Brewster, Tartaglione, Fred Kida, but also Colan, Heck, Toth, and Matt Baker.
  8. Based on your description, I think maybe you’ve got a Sunday strip production page. Back in the day, newspapers received a black & white that somebody had to hand-color to prepare for printing. I’ve got a Peanuts like that. Just my best guess; hopefully someone with more expertise can corroborate or correct.
  9. Brunette in yellow with reckless fellow to angry fellow on cover that’s yellow
  10. So many better possibilities than Kang; good call. I’d take: a Kree/Skrull war a straight adaptation of Graviton’s 1st appearance an Avengers/Defenders war (which is really Loki and Dormammu trying to sucker each other anyway…Dr Strange forms his own team in response…voila! Adapt Zero’s Masters of Evil massacre from the late 270’s (great vehicle for a Thor return)
  11. SOLD! The Unseen #15 (1954 Standard) incomplete; last story (last four leafs) missing. Final issue of series, 32 on census. Art by Meskin, Toth, Roussos, Sekowsky. Gem of a PCH skull cover. $100

  13. This is exactly what I was going to say @O Doyle Rules
  14. Love it! Lois #17 is a tough, underrated book from that era of DC.
  15. Thanks Bret. Probably right in that Fine 6.0 area, with some very pressable flaws, if I were to go that route.
