  1. Re: TOS #6 it also contains a story titled "The Mutants" -- Stan and Joe Sinnott play with the idea of mutants for the first time in a Pre-Marvel book. Very underrated among the various pre-Marvel prototypes.
  2. I guess they should do Wolverine next. He has no qualms about killing.
  3. Rich or not, the first two dozen B&B will be a challenge, even if you’re not particularly fussy about grade.
  4. This coming Sunday. Any boardies going to make it?
  5. Lastly, we have portions of Superman #14 from Jan. 1942. The iconic cover, and most of the 68-page book, is missing, but you get portions of three Superman stories, Clancy the Cop, and a nifty house ad for Action and World’s Finest. $200
  6. Next up, we have a very incomplete Captain America Comics #39. Missing the cover and first two wraps, and the center three pages (there was a single leaf in the middle; common in WWII-era books.) $200
  7. I finally saw a couple of these in hand at Saratoga Comic Con a couple weeks back. They are really striking in person; awesome display items. GLWTS!
  8. Thanks Matt! I priced it cheap because I feel I am also asking a boardie to take over stewardship of a small, fragile piece of comics history. Thanks for accepting the mantle!
  9. SOLD! Here’s 18 pages from Crash Comics #5 (Tem Publishing, Nov. 1940 — 2nd Catman story and 1st cover appearance.) The pages are getting delicate and are chippy around the edges but can be read carefully. The entire Catman story is here. $50
  10. Thank you; that’s saying something coming from a guy who has assembled this run! If it were complete (even via marriage) it would not even be up here. As it is, I’m torn. But I don’t want too many incompletes as it’s too many marriages to try to obtain, and the Timely Caps are enough to chase. This is probably a less common book than any of the ones I’m trying to finish, except maaaaaybe All Select 7.
  11. Please note tape and extra staples on spine. It’s a Mylar all-star and fully supple for reading, but it’s Qualified upside even if successfully married is likely capped by those. In hand, I like it for GVG to VG appearance, as presentation goes, IMO.
  12. Planet Comics #10; a cracked-out (by the previous owner) cgc .5 blue, missing the three center wraps. Label was passed on to me and will be included. Only 32 on census, including this one. I love this book but am narrowing my marriage projects to a few Cap-focused Timelys only. $600 shipped within U.S.
  13. 5 Simple Rules (Please, please read) 1st wins; tie/indeterminate goes to the thread. Payment is Check or Money Order (yeah, yeah I know I'm a dinosaur, troglodyte, luddite, mennonite, hermaphrodite etc. - I just don't have or want e-payments.) Shipping: Via USPS Priority is included in the price. Don't be listy including the little one in my head. Returns: Sure, just notify me within three days of receipt and get it back to me in the same shape on your dime, except no returns on graded books. (Kudos thread linked under my avatar.)
  14. Ok, let’s do a holiday weekend special — $600 shipped within U.S. (say it with me now, Alfred E. — cheap!)
