    SOLD via PM! Battle #1 — Tough first issue of Atlas’ longest-running war title. 12 on census, none higher than 7.5. HA has sold two over the years, the Promise Collection cgc 5.5 in September 2021 for $780, and a cgc 6.5 in Jan. 2023 for $660. From what I can see from the HA scanned slabs, this copy looks structurally to be between them, albeit with some light foxing (most obvious in B in logo.) $600

    Thanks everyone so far! To clarify, as I think my pics (and not showing inside back cover pic) have left some confusion -- there's no stain, and I don't think there's been any cleaning. It would be more obvious had I shown the inside back cover -- some tanning is beginning on that inside front cover, and moreso inside back. I'll try to dig the book back out later and add that inside back pic. It will make more sense then. You are generally corresponding to the range it was sold to me as, which I generally agree with too.

    This. Its a tough, tough book above mid-grade as that gray wrap reveals everything. OP, I followed this auction too for the same reason - that back cover. I have one so I decided to bail on it, but only because of a lot of other stuff cropping up at the same time on my radar. Would not hesitate to have multiples of this book in this grade and up. You got a nice one!
