    This is it. During is the key, as in the mid-70’s, before Punisher and X-Men/Wolverine got popular, and at a time when the Kree-Skrull War was a major story arc not available in any other form but the actual issues from the run. And of course Adams did some striking work in the book. It’s first page is arguably as good a splash page as he has produced. Mind you, we’re talking about a brief period of time. It was probably the last time period in which key story arcs/great artist works were equally weighted with first appearances as “key book” designation determinants. Today, our scope is narrower. At that time, a great storyline could break out from the rest of the run, price-wise.
