  1. SOLD! Teen-Age Romances #43 in, alas, Poor. There is no back cover, and the front cover is detached. The pages are supple and easily readable. 11 on census; this would be the lowest grade. But it looks great in a Mylar; and would in a slab, and its a Baker you can safely enjoy at a fraction of the usual cost of entry. $250
  2. I sold it, and I'm jealous! Seriously, glad its going to a good home. Orbits are tough and there's under the radar gems out there. Enjoy, Rick!
  3. This next one’s a heartbreaker, but it’s also an opportunity. Only 11 on the census, and a 2.0 sold on Heritage in 2018 for $552; while 3.5 has been north of $2K on these boards. A Baker classic coming up.
  4. SOLD! Love Diary #47 in VG. Not a comp to be found anywhere I searched — here, eBay, HA, Clink, comic connect, Payette’s site, MCS, my local liquor store — and just a lone 5.0 on the census. One of the better covers, IMO, in this tough Orbit run. $125
  5. Sorry guys; getting the horizontal flips from either laptop or iPad, despite my efforts. I will continue to post, then endeavor to flip the pictures rightside-up.
  6. Patty Powers #6 VG/VG+ worst of it is that slight hint of moisture past across bottom front. Two on census, a 6.5 is tops. A lower grade copy than this one sold on eBay in January for $165. No other comps out there. (WAS $200) NOW $175
  7. I'll try to flip those True Love Pictorials later and keep moving. For now, if you need a better look, stand on your head. It's all I got.
  8. SOLD! True Love Pictorial #4 in Fair to Fair/Good at best. Cover and 41 pages of Matt Baker in this St John 100-pager. Front cover barely holding on, back cover has some tape repairs, pages supple, clean and highly readable. Tough to comp; our own boards' search and Heritage were most helpful. 12 on the census; lowest 2.5, which sold here over 2 years ago for double this ask. $175
  9. SOLD! Tales of Suspense #40 in GD/GD- 2nd appearance of Iron Man. $300 (compare to eBay options and recent solds). Chips missing off cover, both staples attached, some splitting between staples, pages nice and supple. Little white mark on Iron Man. Only available because I upgraded.
  10. 5 Simple Rules: 1st gets the book; tie/indeterminate goes to the thread. Payment is Check or Money Order. Shipping: $8 for USPS Flat Rate Legal, or $15 for USPS Flat Rate box. Don't be listy including the little one in my head. Returns: Sure, just notify me within three days of receipt and get it back to me in the same shape, on your dime. Going to check on the dog, then start with the 2 Marvels opening act....
  11. Actually.... First, a word about the books... We'll open with the 2 Silver Age (early Marvel hero books), then get to the main event: five tough books, including a couple entry-level copies of highly desirable Bakers, a couple very tough Atlas books, and a late Orbit I have never seen before and cannot find a comp for. The usual drek.
  12. Oh, I'm preparing for it right now....all 5 GGA are "tough comps"-type books. The most commonly slabbed one has 12 on the census.
  13. History will smile on pence copies, Joe. Nice scores all around!
  14. Barring absolute disaster around here, I plan to post seven books tonight -- a couple early Silver Marvels, then 5 Golden Age/50's GGA.
