  1. Welcome to the party! It IS cheap reader night tonight, hifalutin books will be in the finale.
  2. And with that, we will start up with our Sunday night edition, loaded with affordable family fare such as low-grade minor LSH keys and other delights. We’ll save the bigger fish for the finale (Golden Age, silver keys from other than Marvel/DC, some notable romance books etc., tough 50’s books, etc.)
  3. Dadgum it, you’re right! Sorry! What the heck were you people thinking, leaving me in charge of this sales thread??? Porky Pig #28! Thanks again Dwayne!

  7. Thanks Mike, I knew you were a smoke jumper — in fact, I thought you were still at it sometimes? — but I didn’t know where it was from. A beautiful work that also touches on the personal; win-win!
  8. Where is it from? The text blurs when I blow it up. Both beautiful!
  9. Alas, that’s everything I have shot so far, but lots more to come! I’ll shoot another batch in the a.m. and try to post earlier tomorrow. Thanks everyone!
  10. She’s not much for shows, but she likes the movies, and we do have a DPS watercolor of Dr.Strange from the Into Shamballa graphic novel hanging in the living room, so I have no room nor cause to complain.
  11. SOLD via FLASH SALE! Blackhawk #47 I like it for a VG+ Gotta show some interiors here; gorgeous art. $40
  12. Bless my wife, she never says anything about the comics. Well, only once … I walked in with a small stack of early Batmans, either #4 or #11 was on top. Bright-colored, lead-ink, fat 40’s funnybooks, shiny in Mylars. She asked “can I see those?” She looked at the covers, looked at me, and said “I bet you paid more than 10 cents apiece for those.”
  13. You’d think I would have figured that out by now
  14. If I ever decide to part with it, I’ll reach out to you first.
  15. NFS -- Here are some of Beverly Larson's earlier books, when she marked them as a younger girl. Interior shoot of the Ace Comics.
  16. I have been all over the upstate/capital region of NY trying to track down more of Beverly Larson’s books. Most got buried in collections a few years ago. I’ll switch devices a moment and get a pic or two of her marked books.
  17. SOLD via PM! Thor #412 in VF. 1st New Warriors, Juggernaut appearance. $10
