    @artdealer @glendgold Were any of these four pics among those being sold on ebay by the guy from Saugerties? They were texted to my phone this afternoon by my friend from....wait for it....Saugerties, who has been offered these four pieces, with a similar backstory re: Kirby assistant. Mitch, if you get a call from a Chris in Saugerties, I suggested he reach out to you based on this thread and the seller's story that he shared.

    Not sure if this is the OP's point exactly, but there are a lot of coverless GA on ebay now that get confusing at a glance because the pic with the repro cover looks good but the text/headline says coverless. Makes quick scanning a bit more difficult, but I am getting used to it. I get that its supposed to be a form of marketing to show that nice picture but I am now just blowing past them. I would rather see the coverless book in the first pic to understand its condition; the quality of the repro cover could be shown in a subsequent pic. But hey, maybe its working for the seller and I'm in the minority.

    Good point, Mike! So, earlier today I went into one of the local liquor stores and the guy offers me to sample Barrell Bourbon (100 bucks a bottle) and says it "blows Blanton's away" in complexity and smoothness. But at 105 proof I found the alcohol competing with an admittedly pleasant flavor. Nice, but hot, and definitely no Blanton's IMO. Yet the sales guy insisted on telling me the opposite was true... Waitaminit...you want a thread recrap! Ok, gimme an hour or so, once the house settles down....
