  1. Same thing just struck me; we may or may not be in time for this year. Hopefully it is; we'll know soon enough!
  2. WooWhoo! Thank you for getting this done, Richard! I had written a letter back in '94 and it was changed then, but somewhere not too long after, it was switched again and Joe was out. Thanks to you, Joe Sinnott is smiling somewhere -- Stan, Jack and Steve with him, quite likely. Thank you thank you.
  3. Quick recap of what's left from last night's new postings: With these books, some of them have specific flaws that lower their grade, as opposed to general overall wear. Please see posting pix and notes before taking. P7: Wonder Woman #120 VG- $20 Green Lantern #37 VGFN $15 Hulk #250 VF/VF- $10 P8: Journey into Mystery #121 VG $12 P9: Thor #130 Fair $5 There's also a recap of the early portion of the thread on Page 6; many cool left in the first few pages: What If 10, JIM 112, etc. And there's also some cheap esoteric stuff in the middle pages between the first recap and the beginning of last night's postings on page 7.
  4. Marvel Spotlight #1! Thank you again! @WASM apologies that wasn't yet marked sold; both you guys were taking before I was up this morning, so the thread wasn't updated in real time.
  5. Thank you VERY much, Don; I really appreciate you saying that. I think our hobby can be lonely in some ways in that, at least in my personal experience, none of my close friends is also into comics as we on here are. To be able to have a place that allows us to bring our love of funnybooks together -- that creates a great, child-like energy through the joy of sharing and discovery. That's why I love finding a small collection of cool stuff even if its mostly stuff I already have in my permanent collection -- keep a few I've been looking for/wanting, maybe a few others get swapped in as upgrades over what I already have, read a few I never read before, and share them here with others who enjoy them too. And get to create a clubhouse atmosphere in the process! Win-win! I feel like hosting a sales thread on here is like throwing a virtual party; at least that's what I shoot for.
  6. Forget Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! Whine49er1 is in the house and he says take Rommel and the 7 Flies! Combat #5 and all seven issues of Adventures of the Fly/Fly Man! thank you Ike!
  7. Okay, rather than clog up precious threadkrapping space with individual quotes; I will acknowledge a recap of tonight's 's with a Circle Recap! @SushiX Thor 172, 129, 132,133, 134; JIM 123 @Jginsberg79 DD 10 & 11; TTA 65 coverless freebie @oceans11 Wonder Woman #134, JIM #112 I think that was it; if I missed anyone's books, or another taker, let me know. Thanks everyone, I hope this is a fun thread.
  8. Apologies @SushiX and @Jginsberg79 I just couldn't get the rest of them shot! And I can't go another hour or so; early morning tomorrow. But I will shoot for 10 PM EST tomorrow as well, and if I can rummage boxes and find anything else in this same vein that I can part with I'll add them in the mix.
  9. Ok boardies, that's all I got shot today so that's the last book of the night. I'll be here a bit cleaning up takes and marking solds, so please do threadkrap away! 15 more books to come, hopefully tomorrow, mostly Avengers and FF, and a couple odds and ends. Mostly silver, some bronze, some keys in the mix.
  10. SOLD! Thor #134 1st High Evolutionary. Going FN- due to just a little more spine wear (color breaks) than I'm comfortable calling solid FN. If not for that, I'd be on the high side of fine, as the rest is flat, clean, bright. $100
  11. SOLD! Thor #132 VG+ to VGFN 1st Ego, the Living Planet in cameo. $20 Thats right, baby! The Hulk 180 of Ego, the Living Planet! When he gets retconned into a mutant who was cast into space by Magneto, I'll say I told ya so!
