  1. Thanks Solar! Really loved that last time you bought a collection and sold some of it on here. My first thought was its really cool to see your keepers! My second was that the Blazing Comics #1 you scored would be a heckuva upgrade for me
  2. I DO know, brother! That's why I'm pointing out to everyone that this is a rare gravity-drop in a black hole collection! You don't buy 'em know, you likely ain't seeing Jay's copies again! So, about a few more slipping out.....
  3. You know, @SOLAR BOY recently had a great sales thread where he shared two collections. He opened by showing his four keepers from the two collections, so people could see everything. I thought that was cool, so I'll close with mine. Now, I have set aside a small stack of stuff I've always wanted to read (runs of Kobra, silver/bronze age captain marvel, etc) but I probably won't keep them forever. Here's the three books from this collection that have gone into mine:
  4. OK gang, that is everything I've got for this thread! Thank you all, takers, lookers, commenters, and krappers, SO much! I hope everyone had fun sharing this collection that I was fortunate enough to come across. I will leave this open through tomorrow, then close it and get PM's out to buyers over the weekend so those who want their books can get them. I have about 40 Classics that I'll do as an addendum thread after this is closed and PM's go out; buyers interested in those are welcome to wait on that but I will get PM's out for those who are not interested in Classics. Thanks again everyone!
  5. SOLD! Detective Comics #227 3rd Martian Manhunter. I like it for a fine minus.,Flat, bright with slight oxidation stains and dust shadow along right edge. $150
  6. Detective Comics #222 VGFN that would have graded a lot higher had it not been for the dunch at the top front and back covers; worse on back. Slight tear in first page same spot as well. Let's price it like a VG+. $100
  7. Tomb of Terror #14 classic Lee Elias Sci-Fi cover. Sadly, the cover is split, was taped (that's split too) and I suspect it's being held on at the top by glue (or more tape that I cannot see.) Mylar All-Star as the cover is flat and clean, with good gloss and color strike. 33 on census. $60
  8. SOLD! Nick Fury #1 VG+ to VGFN, but a press will probably boost this up as its major flaws come from being store in a not-full box. Look at lower left corner; lots of crinkling and some but not all are color breaks. $30
