  1. It is pretty cool. They are deep in the forgotten genres, but it dries and drabs out a little at a time. Which is probably just as well! But sharp copies of GA romance are an LCS first for me too. (The First Love 13 is better described as solid than sharp, but with that one I'm just shocked and happy to find it.) I also notice that Tales from the Tomb is not too hard to find, but it's not common in nice shape, and all copies seem to disappear as they become available. All in all, a happy little stack!
  2. Thank you, sir! It's a neat little shop that's been around forever. He has a ton of inventory, much of which just cannot be put out in the available space. So every so often he either restocks or rotates from long-held inventory. If you walk in on the right day, you run into some amazing stuff being unearthed.
  3. Is it me, or is the gal on the Romantic Thrillers wearing the Blonde Phantom's dress?
  4. Got it! Apologies for my confusion; on the bright side, it's a bump
  5. So there's undercopies of Two-Gun Kid 60 that could be made available?
  6. I forgot I'm back in this club...I've traded my way out of it three times before, but so far this one is hanging around...
  7. So happy to find these today I think I will cross-post here and in pre-code.s
  8. I was wondering what that awesome sales thread might be funding....now I get it!
  9. I've always liked the cover, when I would stumble across it occasionally scrolling through eBay .... Got it in hand for the first time today and couldn't resist. Insides look promising too; based on a quick flip of the pages. Looking forward to reading it.
  10. Always loved this cover and been curious about this book .... A quick flip thru makes me think it won't disappoint when I sit down to read it.
  11. Happy day here...I will probably be posting these everywhere appropriate Considering how infrequently the first one seems to change hands, it was the LAST thing I expected to find in an LCS bin (not wall!) today....the others were just too sharp to pass up.
  12. The weather in San Diego is quite temperate.
  13. Didn't she first have Power Ring's ring in the storyline leading up to Forever Evil? Or am I mixed up? Just thinking her convoluted origin, if it's who I am thinking of, makes her tough to explain in a movie. I guess they can just wash over it all. Either way, it's a cheap spec, so why not? I do think a female GL in the movie is a must. I'm assuming Katma Tui too, but Cruz is a much cheaper play for certain.
  14. While I never had one, I always wanted that cardboard Marvel World play set advertised in bronze era Marvels. I have only ever seen one in person, and they are few and far between online. And when they appear, they are beat, incomplete and expensive. I also seem to remember, maybe in the 90's, a serie of 20" poseable articulated Marvel action figures. Cap was a classic silver/bronze look, and I always thought that would be a cool desk item. A cap action figure search now yields so much I cannot figure out how to narrow it and cannot bear to sift through!
