  1. 4Most vol 6 #2, 1947. Cover detached, spine heavily worn but pages supple. Nina Albright Cadet cover, interiors including Lem the Grem. Again, great display in a Mylar, but maybe 1.0. $10
  2. Target Comics vol 4 #8, Christmas cover, 1943. Some single-leaf pics, three center wraps detached. Maybe 1.0. Slight brittleness to some edges. "Ghost Train from the Volga" story. Looks VG in a Mylar. Great for display. $10
  3. First up, Monkeyshines #1, Ace Comics, summer 1944. Maybe a 2.0. Cover detached at lower staple, lower split of cover spine. Small piece missing back cover at top, and last couple pages. $25
  4. Just because it's new and this thread should not fall off the first page
  5. Superman #143. Bizarro versus Frankenstein! What else is there to say? Nice house ads for JLA #3 and Showcase #30. About 3.0. Note small piece missing from back cover corner. $20
  6. Little Dot #81, VG/F. Also featuring Richie Rich and Little Lotta. $5
  7. Next one saddens my heart as its in poor shape, but it's a cool GA romance book. New Romances #6, with a Barbara Bel Geddes and Richard Basehart photo cover, and Ruben Moreira interior art. Cover detached, piece missing from one page, CF missing...but still a great, tough comic. $10
  8. Next up is a tough Gold Key from 1970, The Close Shaves of Pauline Peril #1 in VG/F. Nifty for GGA collectors. $15
  9. First up, let's do an 18-book Conan, featuring a good chunk of the Barry Windsor-Smith run: #'s 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,13,14,15,16,17,20,21,23,24,37,100. Most everything in this lot ranges from 4.0-5.0 with the following exceptions: 7 is coverless; 8 has a detached cover, 23 has small piece missing from the lower right front cover (see pics), 37 is a 6.0 (would call it 7.5 if not for the nick above the lower staple; see pic) and 100 is NM. Pics are representative but just ask for specific pics if you want. That's 15 BWS issues including the first Red Sonja and first full Red Sonja appearances, first Elric, the Neal Adams issue (37), the death of Belit (100); 18 total books. The lot is $150.
  10. Posting seven new offerings right now...hang tight....
  11. We should be so lucky these days that all American comics looked like either Kirby, Miller or Perez... whether one likes Manga or not, it's easy to appreciate that it's fans like the serial storytelling that comes from longer-term creative teams committed to continuity. That's what I miss these days.
  12. Maybe she was drawing herself. I certainly see the resemblance.
  13. The Abomination is a great villain! And it's not easy to make non-grand great villains (he's not great in that Thanos or Dr Doom way, but in that Captain Cold solid rival way).
  14. Correct; mixing them up as its been a while. Some of that Defenders weirdness was from Englehart as well, right? It's been too long. I have the whole run and keep telling myself I'm going to read it end to end one of these months, but I think maybe I am afraid of finding it not hold up as well as I recall it. (Though I still think the story in which Doc, Nighthawk, and Luke Cage are battling the Wrecking Crew and then Hulk shows up will still crack me up.)
