  1. Too bad he can't be a paid lobbyist for excuses. His debts would evaporate in minutes.
  2. My start is always the red and yellow sets, something about Marvin Garden on a summer's eve.
  3. I must be ignorant, but how does one get into a twenty thousand dollar debt with Comic Link? What happens if one does not repay said debt or how is one vetted? I have visions of a great Twilight Zone where the debtor ends up in a Comic Link debtor's prison for the next twenty odd years counting pages and looking for clipped coupons for twelve hours, seven days a week except all of the books are modern.
  4. I'm picturing a lot of muscle shirts and wrist exercises for those lightning fast take em's. That's a marketplace gun show.
  5. Too early for candy corn, BUT I love it. I'd hang out with that book too. Maybe buy it a drink or two. My wife would be upset when I brought it into the bed for night time.
  6. Haha, congrats that's a real looker. Very nice book.
  7. -30c or -41c with the chill up here....
  8. Don't see red, see straight. Prolonging and saying things like you just said are damaging you not him. Issue refund and try to get out of here as intact as possible.
  9. The whole thread worth of you stating you will do something and then not? My God man, issue the refund via PP, end this and move on. He has said he's willing to take the refund in anyway that makes him whole, PP is instant. There isn't a faster way to make this end and yet it seems that you are revelling in this. The ball is in your court and you have all the power to end it....
  10. This is true, but if you sold a book to someone then agreed to ship it on a certain date, in other words intended to follow through, you would have realised on said date that you did not have the address and reached out to the buyer.
  11. This is the part which is unacceptable and the fact that you find it funny is alarming. Not a good way to comport yourself or portray yourself business wise. I realise that you likely do not care about my two cents here. Perhaps step back and ponder the optics here about what you are saying to people you desire to do business with. You are getting steamed here. I get that. remain level headed and think about what you are saying. It doesn't look good and, frankly, is damaging.
  12. Then have you issued a cheque? Your reply in his posted messages states that you do not have the money to refund him. This means you cashed his cheque and spent his money. That is his business....
  13. Very well said. Ponzi scheme comes to mind. If someone had your money and then went on to say how they are in dire financial straights, you would, understandably, be concerned about getting your money out of the sinking ship....
  14. PL aside, who wouldn't be upset if one 'owed' another money, the refund, yet was transacting left and right, presumably with the other's money sans interest, as has been said. If that is true or not is another issue, but I can say with certainty that I would be mad if someone did that to me. Again, not PL worthy, but mental note worthy as I find that alarming strictly on a character basis.
