    Don’t have any hard evidence, but I think Megacon screwed C2E2. A friend of mine submitted 4 walk-thru books for me in Chicago and they still aren’t logged into the system. Ridiculous.

    I must’ve been looking at buying other stuff. I was thrilled with the GA. To be fair, I was not looking for silver or bronze keys, so maybe that’s where the “high” prices were for the most part. I had a blast and will be making the show my yearly out of town trip. I bought the best Timely I’ve ever owned.

    I purchased the Plustek OpticPro A320E and love it. Its scan bed size is 11 x 17. It’s not cheap, but it has been working great for me. Here’s an example scan. I haven’t messed around with the settings at all, all stock.

    I just got the Plustek A320E and I am enjoying it. I'm not tech savvy whatsoever, I still need a bit of help tweaking the settings.

    Ok, a bit of a test here. This is my first attempt with my new scanner. So, there's still some tweaking that probably needs to be done. Thank you to @MrBedrock for the guidance so far. Here goes nothing...

    When I got back into collecting 15 years ago, I quickly learned that I was going to have to settle for mid-low grade books. I was immediately drawn to high grade bronze, which turned into high grade silver. Collecting high grade just wasn’t in the cards for me because of budgetary restrictions. I settled on nice VG - F copies for silver and Fine or better for bronze. I ended up with a collection that I was very happy with for many years.
